I just finished watching this show 2 days ago. I honestly thought Dassey's trial was less convincing than Avery's. It seemed he and his family colluded to say that all their stories were lies from the beginning. Especially with his cousin's testimony. She did not do a good job of lying, it seemed to me.

Through three episodes. I'm less convinced in their innocence than I was, but more sure the prosecutor was an idiot and the police morons.

I don’t know, I wonder if they couldn’t have shortened up season 2 to 7 or 8 episodes. 3 episodes in I am starting to get Avery Family fatigue. Not sure I need the detail on whether or not Steve’s ma is throwing up again.
Maybe it will pick up.

Part of the allure of the first season, is most of us knew nothing about the story. Since it was a big hit, the new trials and court cases make the news... ruining any suspense for the new season.

I finally decided to give season 2 a go but lost interest about 3 episodes in. I think making a new season was a bad idea. Maybe a condensed,2 or 3 hour special would be more bearable, but in its current form, it really, really drags.

My school did a bad thing:
Law School Invites Speaker Who Lost His Job Over Sexual Harassment And Coercion Because Standards No Longer Exist
The did this over the well-voiced objection of the SBA. Our position was that unless he was coming to talk, at least in part, about the issue of sexual harassment and how he reformed and is working towards continued reform of the industry we explicitly did not want him to speak. The school did it anyway and they look like asshats.

I am on the uncle/dad did it, and Brendan was involved later. Avery was an easy frame-job.

I'm very much on the "Brendan's brother did it" bandwagon.

A couple weeks ago, I went to a presentation that Avery's defense lawyer gave. Most of what he said was things I already knew about from the documentary but there were a couple of things that were mentioned that I don't recall seeing in the doc. One of those being that the blood on the key that they found in the house had striations that gave a strong indication that it was a newly-made key. It's very easy to guess that this was a frame job but probably not by the police but by other Dassey family members.
