What to do on Christmas Eve?

Postby MalkinIsMyHomeboy » Tue Dec 22, 2015 7:39 pm

I will be spending Xmas eve with my mom by myself. Which is odd considering I have 5 siblings (8 including in law siblings) so this will be the first where I'm the only one in NY

we'll probably just watch tv

We will be getting some takeout and playing a game of Mexican Train Dominoes with the kids. Should be a fun, relaxing time.

Not sure if I feel sorry for your mom because none of the other kids are there or because she only gets you.

X-mas eve with my mom, it's getting more depressing every year though as relatives pass away and my sister and I have yet to reproduce. Then do Jewish X-mas with my dad and his girlfriend. Movie and a Chinese restaurant.

So go have a kid.

Do "it" for your mother.

Thanks to Obama giving the half day and my boss chipping in another hour I have a 3.5hr day tomorrow, and I doubt anyone else will be here.

I'm happy, give me a head start on the cooking. :)

So glad my family decided to wait until I hit my 20s to get lame on Christmas. Christmas eve- neighbors had a big blowout when I was a kid, and Christmas was non stop people until I woke up til I went to sleep. Tonight there were 5 of us at my house and we hit a new record. 45 minutes in and out. And my only relative left, my uncle, who watches sports and likes to have some drinks is spending Christmas in florida.
