Is there a candy you associate with Christmas experiences/memories?
When we were growing up, my mother always bought boxes of pecan turtles for Christmas. Never bought them any other time of the year. It was a Christmas treat.
I remember, sitting in the living room after dinner, having dessert and turtles and talking with the family.
To this day, I buy turtles only around Christmas. Brings back a lot of good memories

Walking into the basement when I was about 6 and seeing my oldest brother put together a bike....Boom, Santa was dead to me.

Candy canes. Only time of year I eat them, but I love me some peppermint canes.

Hard candy ribbons. We always had a candy dish filled with these things. They would remain in that dish until my mom would toss them.

After Eight Mints. Dunno if you guys get them, but they are thin dark chocolate with a mint fondant centre.
I still get a box each year.

I think they put it out to punish us. Those candies and a wooden bowl of hard nuts still in the shell were tradition. My parents really must have hated us.Has anyone actually eaten this candy?Hard candy ribbons. We always had a candy dish filled with these things. Yes! My sisters and I would eat all the walnuts and almonds. My dad would eat the brazil nuts. The rest were thrown away.I think they put it out to punish us. We had a metal pick to try and crack the shells. That was often times used as a weapon by my older brother. The adults had the actual nut cracker pliers. God knows how those would have been improperly used in the hands of kids.

My mom makes ricotta cookies every year. That's the closest I have to a favorite holiday candy.

My parents once gave us a candy cane M&M thing, I'll never forget it because the Monday after Christmas, my parents went back to work and I ate the whole thing in like an hour.
The real terrible part, is that I spent the day playing Madden with my brother in our downstairs room with the fireplace on. That much insane heat just basically made me throw all the M&M's up in horrific fashion.
So I guess that's a pretty solid Christmas Experience.

Not candy, but cookies. I'm not a cookie guy but Christmas cookies are delicious.
