Tyson looked good for a 54 year old. Roy just clinched every time he took a couple punches. There were a few good moments here and there but the rounds were too short for that much clinching

Floyd will dance along the ropes while landing potshot jabs to accumulate punch numbers while Paul doesn’t land a single punch the entire fight. Everyone wanting excitement will go home blue balled.

As a big boxing fan, these exhibition fights really speak to the rut the sport is in. I can’t name a fighter I would pay money to watch and the headline fights are two old **** or a YouTube prick trying to get killed for money.

It’s Logan who lost his two fights as opposed to Jake who won.

Honestly it's a disgrace to the sport, imo.

Same with that Tyson fight last weekend, it's more of a disgrace they ended it in a draw than giving a win to Tyson.

The New Year sumo tournament is starting on Sunday. After Hakuho tested positive and in light of the great increase in cases in Tokyo, the Sumo association decided to perform tests on everyone, and the results were not good. Positive tests at the Kokonoe, Arashio, Tomozuna, and Miyagino training stables, so all of those wrestlers are being held out. That's 65 rikishi in all and 15 from the top two divisions, which is a little more than 20% of the wrestlers in those divisions.

I love sumo, but I'll be the first to admit that many aspects of the sport are completely antiquated and totally backwards-as-**** stupid, and the approach to injuries is one of them. In a recent match, third-division wrestler Shonannoumi was clearly concussed and completely out of it after butting heads with his opponent during a false start. He couldn't even stand up straight and fell several times trying to stand. Where is the medical team you might ask? Why didn't the doctor in attendance step in? Oh, sumo doesn't have any of those. No athletic trainers, no medics, no doctors on hand. And even though Shonannoumi was clearly injured, the judges not only didn't get him any medical attention, after a minute or so to "recover" they let him get back in the ring and continue the bout.

I always love your sumo posts. That was a pretty brutal collision. Can’t believe they’re still so antiquated when it comes to medical professionals and policies.

Just saw the last standoff or face to face, whatever they're called between Mcgregor and Porier... Little shocked to not see Connor act like a complete ******...

Very happy I don’t have to read any arguments (or people try and argue it) about how Khabib isn’t better than Conor.

Conor looked old after round 1 and completely abandoned his leg defense. Just a beautiful knockout.
