I’ll believe it when the ink is dry on the contract. Mourinho likes to spend and Spurs were cheap before they owed $20MM to their newly fired coaching staff.

Pochettino would be a good choice for Barca. Poch, however, is an Espanyol fan and would never join FCB.

There were rumors last week that Bayern had interest in him if Spurs decided to make a change. Don't know that I see him going there though.

They have a good coach now in Hansi Flick, no need for a change.

Meh... you told me ahead of the game we'd get a point, I'd be happy with it. We've had the toughest schedule in the EPL so far this season. Need to make hay the rest of season.

I haven't paid as much attention to the EPL this year as normal and just checked the table.

Did they just randomize everything?

70 minutes into the Watford game on Saturday, Southampton were 6 points away from being out of the relegation zone. Today they're 6 points out of Europa League. I love how packed the EPL middle ground is...

Honest question: why the F did Messi win the award?

Yea Barca won the La Liga. They also choked like a dog in the champions league and Messi’s Argentina is pathetic.

He won because he's the best player on the planet and had a terrific season. He was the reason an ageing, often average looking Barca team even made it as far as they did. And don't even get me started on Argentina.

I’m not disagreeing with you on how well he played. It just seems like the award is not necessarily for the best player but a great player who also had the most titles that year

Titles definitely help, yes.
