Rooting for France is the sign of a mental disease after the last 20 minutes trip, that was egregious even by traditional soccer time-wasting standards. Mbappe dribbling the ball away into the penalty area on a Belgium throw was a new low.

I can never root for England. It will be 4 years of English commentators talking about how England is the best team of all time. Just like how they mention that the EPL is the best league in the world 17 times during every broadcast (despite not winning a CL since what seems like 15 years)

But according to El Pais, Mbappe has not been on good terms with Neymar at club level. The report claims that Neymar and Dani Alves have joked about Mbappe’s appearance and refer to him by his nickname ‘Donatello’ as they believe he resembles the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon character.
