woke up to see 3-0 at the half... wow. Possession is 60-40, so I'm assuming that arsenal really has dominated.

Does anyone think Jordan Henderson is one of the most overrated players in the EPL?

*raises hand

Good engine, physical tactician type, but not particularly creative and average technical player. Seems to be regarded as more than that. Better than Joe Allen, though....not sure what he's doing getting such regular time for a club like Liverpool.

That's a perfect description. Good engine, everything else he does is average

I think he's a good player and could potentially be very good.

I just hope he doesn't get the weight of the world put on his shoulders by the English media as they are prone to do that with any young player who shows any potential.

Charlie Adam is textbook Scottish. I'm still amazed he has maintained a career in the EPL.

I am so pumped to go to Seattle in August for the Seattle-Portland throw down.
That should be awesome. Really, outside of the really big rivalries (e.g. Real Madrid v Barcelona, or Man U v Man City), I bet Seattle-Portland is as impressive an atmosphere as you'll see at any pro game around the world.

Seriously jealous of that, shaf. Are you sitting near the fan section?

Either way, that place is going to be bonkers. Best atmosphere you'll be able to watch in NA.

Boo. A good friend of mine from lw school relocated to Portland, and I went to the Sounders game two years ago when the Timbers really put things together. It was incredible. We decided not to sit directly in TA area to be able to take in the game and atmosphere a bit more. So much fun.

Takes a special type of masochist to be a Tottenham fan.

Tottenham is to the EPL what the Detroit Lions are to the NFL.

You have heard tell that they were good, and are one of the "foundational" teams in the league, yet they never actually seem to have won anything.

The degree of difficulty on this is at the top of the charts technique wise. To execute this when the ball is coming directly at you with your back to the goal is nearly impossible.

You might remember Pinilla from the WC and him crushing one off the crossbar against Brazil (I can safely assume there are no closet Atalanta fans here).
