I don't play close enough attention to MLS to have an opinion on Berkhalter's hiring, but after last night he seems dumb. Not Bruce Arena dumb, but dumb nonetheless. Is McKennie the heir apparent to Bradley? I've hated Bradley forever and the sooner they replace him the better.

Reggie Cannon is good imo
I like both he and McKennie.

She had such a great match, but what was the plan here from the keeper?

I played soccer for 15 years or so. I loved watching it, too. But I just don’t get much joy out of slogging through the disgraceful behavior in CONCACAF. It’s completely disengaging.

...us being a bowl full of meh doesn’t help.

Positives for the future of USMNT:

Pulisic (duh)
McKinnie
Reggie Cannon
josh Sargent (call him!)
Timothy Weah (call him)
The back line seems to be decent
Zach Steffen

negatives:

Coaching still seems bad
Bradley’s back passes
Bradley’s dumb diagonal balls
Bradley’s turtle like speed

And it was roughly this moment where the worm turned. I felt it was a pretty even match up to this point (maybe even a slight edge to the US), and then this scrum happened and it became Mexico's match to lose.

It seemed like she was guessing to the right, realized it was going left, and it was too late.

The true crime is all of the pundits that continue to carry the water for Bradley's suckage. He is a crap turnover machine, and a part of the loser culture that has plagued the USMNT for too long.

Look at how much Ertz positively affects the women's team. She is able to absorb counterattacks which allows the backs to press up and join the attack. Bradley couldn't mark a second year AYSO player.

Rapinoe had gone bottom left on both of her PKs against France so the goalie is probably shading that way in her mind as it is. Just before Rapinoe hits the ball, you see the goalie take a stutter step to her right, based on what Megan's done in the past, and by the time she realizes the ball isn't going there, all her momentum is to her right. Therefore, it doesn't look like she really moves.

Premier league is right around the corner! Get your Predictions in while you can!!!

Top 3: Liverpool, City, (big gap) Arsenal
Everton Trophy (7th place): Leicester City
Relegation: Brighton, Villa, Sheffield United

Biggest rise in position: Southampton (If they don't end up 5 places higher this season, I'll eat tif's hat)
Biggest fall: Newcastle (I almost put them in relegation)

The Top 3 is dependent on if the Spurs decide to continue spending money, which they don't seem inclined to do at this point. dadholes toying with my emotions.

Top 3: Liverpool, City, Spurs
Everton Trophy: Everton
Relegation: Brighton, Burnley, Sheffield United
Rise: I could see it being Southampton but for the sake of differentiation I'm going to say Palace unless they sell Zaha.
Fall: Chelsea

Champions League: Liverpool, City, Spurs, Arsenal
Europa League: Wolves, Man U

I half feel wolves are going to crumble a bit this year. They had such success last year to get to Europa league this year.... that kind of stuff can have an impact on domestic play.

For fall, I was between Chelsea, Wolves, and Newcastle.

I'm hopeful for Wolves because I always like to see a non-traditional power get included in the fun. I too can see Newcastle being relegated. I think the Blues are ****.

I love Wolves... I too hope they get up in the mix and break up that top 6. The last year that the big 6 weren't the top 6 was when all hell broke loose in 2015-2016, and that was a ton of fun.

Be interesting to see what Jill Ellis has in store now that she's stepped down from the USWNT. I gather there are rumors she's in for an MLS job.

Wait. Clubs are allowed to sign more than one player in a transfer period?
