I find Pickford intensely unlikeable.
Same.

Being a "product" of a small country myself, I would really like to root for Croatia. But, if they win, over/under a fascist chant video from the players/fans shows up?

Good win for Croatia, but the referee was not big enough for the match.

Did you know Croatia is the second smallest country (by population) to make the World Cup final?

Why didn't Pickford go forward on the last free kick?

He never outright lost control, but never fully regained the players' after failing to caution Lovren after like four pretty bad fouls early.

I certainly hope I'm wrong but I find it fairly likely that France physically bullies an absolutely exhausted Croatia on Sunday, on an extra day of rest no less. Wish they would figure out a way to have more time off before the finals, though at least it's not like past Euros where there was only a two day layoff for the second finalist. France 3 Croatia 1.

To be honest they should probably play at like 2 in the morning in Moscow so that it's on the Primetime Monday here.

This is exactly where I'm at. When France went through I kinda felt like it didn't matter who won this match. Then again, I thought Croatia would be gassed as this game went on too sooooo

That clip of England trying to score during Croatia's second goal celebration was LOL.

I didn't see that yesterday, but apparently there were two instances earlier in the tournament were players made the conscious decision to stay on the pitch to prevent the quick kickoff. (Including one England player)

The referee for the title game will be Nestor Pitana (ARG) who also refereed the very first game of the tournament. The referee for the 3rd place game will be Alireza Faghani from Iran. Those 2 guys were, I believe, generally considered the two best referees at this WC.

In other news, Ivan Rakitic (CRO) allegedly had a 39C fever the night before the semifinal game. He played the whole 120 minutes, had 82 passes (2nd highest in that game) and 2 SOG... :scared:
