Actually makes me kind of sad. So'ton have been in the EPL since I started caring about the sport and it's going to be weird watching a season without them. I think they can easily get promoted but it'll be interesting to see who departs. Banzunu was nowhere near ready for starting duties this year and it ultimately sealed their fate, but at some point you need to find the back of the net. They've brought in success ECL strikers over the last couple years (Adams and Armstrong) but neither was able to elevate their game for the increased competition.

Yea, it really sucks. He looked awesome in those 23 minutes too. I’m worried he’s muscles are done, ala Hazard and James Rodriguez and Dybala to an extent. Juve absolutely needs him healthy because they don’t have a midfielder on the team that can really control play and connect with the forwards the way he does

This season has been cursed and it will be a cherry on the top when the 9 point deduction happens in about 2 weeks

Brahim Diaz just missed a golden chance to put Milan up 1-0. Not sure wtf he was thinking there.

Terrible miss but I think VAR rescinds for the foul on Barella anyways

Rather uninspired first half, if I’m being honest.

Basically zero pace with possession, and subpar passing. It’s like they don’t know that this is a CL elimination game.

I like Milan a lot more than Shinter but Inter is a better team for the finals. Milan is still really young and without Bennacer, they are f’d in the midfield

I hope they all tear their ACLs in the first five minutes of the Final.

I think they’ll be back up soon, but certainly sad to see. They’ve got the cash and will be a very good championship side. I’m well aware that JWP and most of the team for that matter is gone, but they have a great youth academy and won’t be down long.

Sevilla advances to the Europe League final on a 95th minute goal scored by Erik Lamela, assisted by Bryan Gil. Two summers ago Tottenham sent Lamela and £21.6 million to Sevilla for Gil.

Interesting relegation battle as either the second longest standing top level club, Everton, or the champs from 7 years ago, Leicester, will go down and possibly both. Hammers a big player here as they play Leeds today and Foxes next Sunday.

Everton also has spent the most seasons of any club in the top level. With 120. Villa is next with 109.

Everton’s draw yesterday ensured the Irons safety so it will be interesting to see what the level of effort is leading up to their Conference league final v Fiorentina.

Burnley, Sheffield United and the winner of Saturday’s playoff between Luton Town and Coventry City will be promoted. The first two are just boring churn but the playoff teams have both come up from League Two in the span of 5 years, and now one will make the Prem.

Leeds have West Ham and Tottenham. Leceister have Newcastle and West Ham. Everton home against Bournemouth. Unless West Ham are extremely unmotivated, I think Leeds and Leceister are screwed. If both games go their way today, Everton need a win at home next Sunday to guarantee their survival and I think Dyche gets it done.

The promotion final is interesting and I always like seeing new blood get involved. Luton Town's stadium is an old as **** relic where the fans are right on top of the pitch and I want it in the EPL.

**** them. Relegation battle is set though. Things looking really bad for Leeds as goal differential is not on their side. I still think Everton gets it done and survives.
