The USMT looked good for 45 minutes, then the wheels fell off after the little scuffle early in the 2d half.

They had at least 2 or 3 looks at Mexico's net with Ochoa either out of position or off balance - and pretty much 1-v-1 - and they didn't actually net a SOG in any of them.

The post match was not kind to Bradley or Berkhalter. TIL that Bradley is only turning 32 in July, so we are probably going to be stuck with him through the next World Cup cycle. Lovely.

Berkhalter's subs were really questionable last night. I also heard that Sargent was the last cut to the team in favor of Zardes; that alone is a sackable offense IMO. Sargent didn't go to the U20 WC because they thought he was going to be on the senior team at the World Cup.

Berkhalter is a more rigid system coach that is less apt to design his system around the available players he has. Not a fan.
