Solid possession receiver but I don't know if he has the foot speed to play winger against better teams.

USA ripped those Trinidadians new buttholes yesterday. Not quite revenge for the WC elimination but it was fun, anyway.

That second half was good stuff. Altidore stinks. He looked like a glacier trying to move out there.

Tbh I didn’t even realize Altidore was still on the roster till he subbed in.

Also I don’t know if it was limited from what you would get at a Browns game but the concessions at that stadium suck.

Auspicious start to the Spain-US match today. Two minutes after Rapinoe drove home a penalty, Naeher made a horrible decision that let directly to a tying marker for Spain:

Same here. Pulisic is a stud though. And Jordan Morris made some things happen when he came in.

Hah yeah that sucked. We were in the club too and still had nothing

Morgan, and especially Rapinoe, did not look great in the first half. Hopefully the cream rises to the top in the 2nd.

Looked soff, which is the danger with soff calls. There might not be enough on VAR to confirm, but there wasn't enough (imo) to overrule, either. I think the same would've happened if they reviewed that same play in a non-call situation.

Yeah, that was definitely a soft, soft call. Winning 2-1 on two penalties doesn't exactly inspire confidence moving forward.

And Rapinoe needs to figure out her sht. The entire game: get the ball, make some half turns, lose the ball. She was bailed out by that first penalty but needs to be much, much better.

I thought all the 50-50 calls after the second penalty went to España.

San Siro getting demolished.
AC Milan and Inter Milan are planning to knock down San Siro and build a brand new stadium together on the same area of land, according to the Rossoneri's president Paolo Scaroni.

The two clubs are collaborating on a joint project which, according to Scaroni, will see the iconic venue demolished with a new stadium constructed.

Not a soft call. There was contact, so it's a penalty. You dont get a pass for being clumsy.

Really great on Monday. Slick moves, smart passes, and super confident from the spot to get two goals. The hero. Grade: A
Megan Rapinoe awarded Player Of The Match
Rapinoe’s clutch penalties are the difference
Megan Rapinoe 7' (P), 76' (P)
Or as Shaf calls it, 'hot garbage'.

I can only hope we get more of this ordures chaudes v the hosts.

So she was basically player of the match because she scored two penalties...

Did you actually watch the match? She was not good. A lot of turnovers, and just not a lot of vision with the ball. Morgan was the only other player that was worse by their usual standards.
