Gee...it's almost like a player can be unimpressive in one game, and then be great in the next game. It's almost like the close call against Spain was a motivator.

That was a huge goal...completely against the run of play too. Things were starting to get dicey for a while there.

I guess it depends on the marking scheme... I know some coaches do zone, some do man, but I'd imagine when there's someone like that in the box, you put someone on her 100% of the time.

This US team is just not technical at all. We might win the WC purely based on being larger and faster...but that lineup minus rapinoe (who is a turnover machine) and Heath want to play 1960s English long ball. I don’t think they strung more than 6 passes together the entire game

It's beautiful when she scores, but yeah she makes me nervous with the ball.

Got to watch some of the game in time square today. It was pretty awesome watching my daughter in her USA jersey cheering along with the hundreds others for the 2nd goal. Very cool experience!
