For 1978, that was crazy hot!

Farrah in 1976 still has the highest selling poster...I think.

And Cheryl was hotter than her.

I remember the late 70s and early 80s when my mom first got me a subscription to Sports Illustrated, when Tiegs was in the swimsuit issue I just didn't think she was all that. Still don't.

That is the worst car in the entire world. Nice poster, though.

Just drove past a Lambo service shop last night that had three or four of those things in the forecourt.

Right. I saw a Top Gear style segment that showed just how impossible that car is to actually use. It's basically the exact opposite of the McLaren F1. But that poster hung next to my bed for several years, next to one of a 911.

Did anyone ever collect these? You could win them at the county fair and stuff. I had about 20 of them lining my bedroom until the house burnt down.

Had bands, cartoons, tv shows, whatever.

Walked through a fair about 2-3 years ago and saw the old pop a balloon game with a ton of these on the walls. Did they actually replace these with cardboard inlays?

Image

Edit: bad example since I can see the mirror edging, but it does look like they slapped a piece of paper in this one when looking at it on my phone.

And the people who made this new place.

At 13, I was all about collecting these. And glow-in-the-dark neon bands, and those multi-color alligator clip indian feathers.

Because the 80's.
