All 5 fights on the card are good. That Polish (lighter weight class) girl Jedrzejczyk seem to be the new darling of UFC and she's pretty fierce. First fight has the huge 7 foot tall Dutch dude. Other 2 fights, just as good.

we'll be watching at the home of Rev's new friend, who has been training in MMA for a few years and was recently accepted to be trained for UFC. she said yesterday that Raousey does not scare her.

I find that hard to believe.. that being that Rousey doesn't scare her.

Because she'll never have to face Rousey.

Once you've seen the chick from The Entourage Movie beat up someone, you've seen her beat up everyone.

I admire her as a marketer/self-promoter, it's not a grudge or anything. She's achieved everything she can in her sport and now needs to grab as much traction in other areas as she can before mass apathy sets in. And she's doing well.

She doesn't just beat people, she destroys them in seconds. She's a female terminator pretty much. i enjoy watching her taking people out in dominating fashion I guess.

Other fighters said Ronda doesn't scare them. Then she beat the crap out of them. But that's good. You have to try going without fear or you may as well not show up.

And to be honest, Ronda isn't huge and doesn't look that scary. She's just a terrific fighter.

My HS valedictorian was the point guard on those teams.

She lived in a house across the way from my apartment complex, and we more or less grew up together, and played together during the summer and whatnot. She would absolutely kick my ass at basketball, and she's the single biggest reason why I hate the sport to this day.

Holm has zero shot here. She never should have been given this fight... not that there's anyone that is going to give Rousey a good go at this point. This is the closest in combat sports the public has seen to Tyson in his prime since Tyson. It's a phenomenon for sure but it's not very exciting to watch because it's over so quickly. The only way she loses is when she gets a bit older and the younger generation that has been doing this since they were babies comes in.

Not sure. 5th fight. Not for at least an hour, I don't think. Probably 11:30, my guess. Unless there are quick knockouts.

Reminder
Holm has zero shot here.

Also, I was getting very tired of all the Rousey hype.

Wow. Rhonda got lit up! Wasn't even close, her refusal to go to the ground and try to outbox a boxing champion was a HUGE mistake.

BOOM

That was one of the most satisfying fights I watched. I'm with MIMH, actually. I didn't like how Rousey acted at all. First, she started a fight at the weight-ins. Now she didn't shake hands and acted like an angry dodint, trying to intimidate Holm. Chased her around. She acted like Cormier when he fought Jones. All anger, zero control. And I think it's because she was afraid and because she knew this one was gonna be harder. Fear of losing when you're at the top can be a real pressure dodint. Wonderful, amazing, performance by Holly Holm.

Guess this will shut RR up for a while. Maybe forever. She needs to decide if she wants to be a fighter or an actress, because she prepared for this fight like someone that's more interested in acting. While I doubt anyone would blame her for wanting to focus on acting instead of getting kicked in the head again, she might want to ask Gina Carano about what happens when you listen to the hype machine about how good of an actor you might be.
