I never did get everything. I think one or two of the cooking channels were lost, but the wife found Tastemade and really likes it.
One of the stand-and-stir shows had some really unfortunate chefs demonstrating stuff. One guy dropped his knife on his foot, one guy dropped a loaded pan......

I like the spoon commercial.

Peacock launched today.
There is an Angylene mini-series starring Emmy Rossum; that's either going to be a Dumpster fire or a DUMPSTER FIRE.

That's actually my favorite show on the channel. Of all the hosts, Frankie is by far the most deft and relatable.

Harry Potter films leaving HBO Max at the end of August. I had foolishly assumed that because they were Time-Warner/Warner Brothers films, they would be on HBO Max in perpetuity.

Also, the first three Jurassic Park films are headed to Netflix in August.

Jurassic Park had better be in 4k UHD and Atmos or DTS:X.

This is why physical media is still important. Warner sold the broadcast/digital rights to NBCUniversal in 2016 which runs until 2024. People were surprised the series was on HBO Max because of that previous deal with NBC. Now it looks like it'll likely be headed to Peacock.

There is an abysmal amount of Atmos content on Netflix and Prime.

Can anyone with an indoor HD antenna verify the accuracy of range maps? Looking into one and sometime the antenna says it will get me nothing and others say I'll get several.

That price gouging shows that AT-T is still an archaic company that knows its roots as Bell will keep it from ever getting in trouble. And the crazy thing is that people will pay that.

I don't have a TV in my office so I'm trying to stream the Pens/Flyers game on DirecTV. Can't do it on the website. "This program is unavailable to stream." Same thing on the iPad app. NBCSN will be blacked out.

Welp, guess I have to find one of those illegal streams even though I pay out the ass for DTV.

We noticed during COVID that we never watch our DirectTv, so we cancelled. I did, however, have NHL center ice. Is there an above the bar alternative that is not tied to a cable provider?

Which will blackout all Hurricanes games, including when the play the Penguins.

I did the math on NHL.tv for me a couple of years ago. No playoffs, no national games (the Pens are always on national games), and then local games are blacked out (which means the Hurricanes for me and my Charlotte area/NC brethren). We're down to about 60 games right there, sometimes less than that.

So off to NHLstreams reddit I go...

Oh, I know it's gone but you can still find its replacement or whatever it is.

What's funny is that MLBstreams is still going strong - like no one cares enough about baseball streams to have it shut down.
