Same here. Nature documentaries, sports, and shows in space. Those would all benefit greatly from 4k.Source of the post I really just want all sports to be broadcast in 4k at this point haha.

On a good note I think I got my wife on board for when we move to our new house (as long as we have the space) that I can go reallllly big on the TV in the mancave area, or do a projector.

The space between my windows won't allow for anything more than a 75" set, which is what I have now. I would have gone bigger if possible.

I have a 60" in the mancave now as the room just isn't big enough to go bigger. Hopefully in the next house I will have more space. On a good note I think I got my wife on board for when we move to our new house (as long as we have the space) that I can go reallllly big on the TV in the mancave area, or do a projector.

I now envision him having a permanent screen on the wall, but having the projector drop down when he wants to watch TV.just do both, have the projector screen pop down from the ceiling! On a good note I think I got my wife on board for when we move to our new house (as long as we have the space) that I can go reallllly big on the TV in the mancave area, or do a projector.

I have a projector and screen that I use for the backyard. I have a 65" tv down cellar, but I am always wondering why I don't setup a projector as well? It would be fun to have a much bigger screen, but I guess my TV being much nicer than the projector has something to do with it. Does anyone have both? Do you find you watch one over the other?

Yeah you canOne major knock on YTTV is that you apparently can't create series recordings. This is a must have for me, and I can't believe that they haven't added this feature yet.

They support page I found on their site said otherwise, but I guess that could just be outdated. In other news, Amazon has the receiver I want as a like new item for 20% off, so I'm pulling the trigger.

It looks like Amazon is taking 20% off a lot of their Warehouse Deals right now: https://kinjadeals.theinventory.com/ama ... 1831639105

That's my situation right now. I have a 65" curve that's almost 5 years old so I'm getting the upgrade bug. I wouldn't mind going up to a 75", but I don't know if I'm gonna have the clearance from the wall mounts to the ceiling for it.The space between my windows won't allow for anything more than a 75" set, which is what I have now. I would have gone bigger if possible.

Yeah you can add shows to your "library" and it'll record the seriesThey support page I found on their site said otherwise, but I guess that could just be outdated. In other news, Amazon has the receiver I want as a like new item for 20% off, so I'm pulling the trigger.

Add a program to your library:
Anytime you see the add option next to a show, sports team, event, etc., you can add it to your library.
Adding a program to your library means that all current and upcoming airings will be recorded.

After a week with YouTube TV, I can officially confirm the guide is trash. No NFL Network (yet) and no NHL Network. Boo. But otherwise the service is pretty good.

I would have to switch to NHL Live if I went that route. Looks like it’d cost more than Center Ice, too.

The NHL is just way behind when it comes to allowing fans to access the product. It's not on most of these services. Combine that with the Pens being on some **** tier RSN with no streaming option and it's any wonder I watch their games at all.

Guide, not great. Home screen, great imo. I love the suggestions. Whenever I login there are a few games right in front of my face. Don't even have to look to see what channel they're onAfter a week with YouTube TV, I can officially confirm the guide is trash. No NFL Network (yet) and no NHL Network. Boo. Downloaded the Fox Sports app on my Sony TV. It seems as though you can watch live content on it without signing in to the app or your provider, which is good since I was unable to actually verify my provider with the shitty ass FS website activation.

Are airpods really that much better than 30 buck Bluetooth ear buds?
