Speaking of glass surfaces..... what's a good cleaning product? Over the years, several of our friends have had children, and we had the swimming pool. So our TV is kinda covered in smudges on the left side, like to the point where it sort of obscures the image in high light conditions.
Sprayway glass cleaner. It won’t harm any delicate surface.

Is there any update on ATTSN and Directv Now?

My 3 months prepaid (for my free apple TV) is up soon. I may hold off on renewing.

after nearly 9 years of successfully jumping between products Comcast jacked up our rates and said no more.

I can't believe this worked, but I cancelled and my wife started a subscription in her name. we are going internet only for the summer at the introductory price of $40 a month, but will likely do a tv+internet deal once the fall rolls around.

Nope, all of their packages are going up $5. I’m sticking around only because I’m getting the grandfathered go big package for $40. I’m pretty happy with the service for the price I’m paying.

DTVN did however add NFL Network at no cost to all but their least expensive package.

I'm still at $35 for the low end one it seems. I just got charged today.

So, looking for recommendations to watch the pens on an apple TV this year.

MagicFiber Microfiber Cleaning Cloths, EXTRA LARGE PACK
These arrived yesterday, and I will say that 'magic' is a bit of an understatement. Worked a treat, thanks for the recco.

My Fios contract expired and the bill went up. Looking into the bills and fees, it's ridiculous how much extra stuff gets added on for just internet and TV.

If you have fios internet only there are no taxes or fees whatsoever. *as long as you own the modem.

Roughly 16% of my bill is attributed to fees, be it Verizon's own, or fees passed down. Comcast is no different.

Comcast just restructured a lot of their stuff if you wanna take a look. You'll have the same issue in a few years when your contract is up and the bill goes up, but then you just switch back to Fios (or threaten to) and you'll get a deal again.

It's ridiculous, basically, my contract expired, and now I'm going to pay the same price either way at the expired price for a 2-year agreement. Wow, some deal.

For me, if I can continue to pay the same price year after year, I'll take it. My current contract was only more expensive than my previous one because of a new $4 local fee. My contract's up in December, I think, so it'll be interesting to see what I can get. Verizon has been good about honoring my requests, so I'm optimistic.

My Comca$t contract expires in Oct., and we are cutting the cord at that point.

I'm very happy with our Verizon FIOS internet only, although it's $89.99 now that our first year is up. I need to call in and do the little song and dance soon.

I switched from Comcast to Verizon after I called Comcast to set up internet-only service and the representative kept asking me why I wouldn't want to bundle it with their TV package. I politely told him that I'm already set up with DirecTV but he kept pressuring and pushing the TV package and how DirecTV couldn't match their signal and blah blah blah until I finally told him forget it and hung up. I called Verizon after and the rep didn't push the TV package once. I'm happy with my choice. 100/100, service hasn't gone down one time in 4 years.

I have 100/100 Verizon internet and I love it - I could re-up for another two years and pay the same price for 150/150 instead or another $10 more for gigabit connection - but that puts me near $150 a month, which I don't really want to do.

Unless they've changed their packages in the last two years, Comcast upload speeds are garbage.

Also **** Comcast

^This guy gets it.

Also, $150/m for just internet? Sheesh. That’s what I pay for my entire FiOS package. Granted, it’s just 50/50 internet, but still

Bought one of the TVs from Amazon. Arrived in Pittsburgh on the 3rd. Shipping company won't deliver it until the 15th after promising 6th-8th. Won't let me bring a commercial vehicle and pick it up, either. Starting to get a little pissed about it. Mostly I understand the realities of logistics and things happen, but on the other hand telling me to go **** myself when all I want to do is drive over and do their work for them has turned my mood a bit sour.
