I have a 7.2 NR626 that I'm pretty happy with. Its a 2013 model that I bought on closeout right as the 2015 models were showing up in stores. For about $100 more I could've bought an Atmos capable model, but at that price I would have had to choose between 7.2 and 5.2.2.

That's the same model that I had up until last year. Years of my cat peeing on it finally corroded the board, and it died.

Was speaking generally; I'm sure your cat pissing onto some electronics next to some integrated fans was very endearing.

I think Mikey was asking cause I offered to sell him my old HITB which is that Onkyo pictured(ST3500 I think was the HTIB model number). I used it for a year or so till I upgraded to a bigger setup. It served me well. The only downfall for him is the receiver in that set doesn't do bluetooth which I believe he really wants. The newer Onkyo HTIB are I'm sure well worth the $$$ too if he goes that route. I have a Denon receiver now that I use with separate Pioneer Bookshelf/Center(Andrew Jones series) for my HT, but that Onkyo served me well and is just sitting in a box with all its original speakers. The wires it came with were crappy(but color coded ha), so I would recommend getting some thicker gauge speaker wire. Either way for what I paid for that thing it was well worth it for me till I could upgrade.

Now that I've discovered having access to movies through Prime, I'm ditching DTV Now after the college football season. That will leave me with:

NHL.tv
Filmstruck
HBO Now
Amazon movies

That's quite enough....

Criterion Collection is clutch for people who don't watch Disney movies. ;)

Neat. Never heard of it. I wonder if they have a PS4 app. PS4 is constantly trying to upsell their paid apps but I've not seen that one come across yet.

Did onkyo merge with pioneer?

Filmstruck looks great, I believe I'll put a feeler out for Santa, that would be a great gift.

Not sure if serious, but if "The Rock" is desired, then - yes - barking up the wrong tree with Filmstruck.

I sure they (whoever controls the rights) make a lot more money with a TNT exclusive (or whatever) deal.

One look at the website should indicate that it's about the long tail of high brow cinema. I enjoy watching films, which I've never heard of. YMMV.

Ended up tying a string to the end of the security camera wires and then fishing them through backwards. Ended up working very well.

My son is asking for a bluetooth headset for Christmas. Basically, earphones and a mike for some games he plays online.

Any suggestions?
