Yeah that seems like a crazy price. I'm pretty sure I got mine from monoprice for like $8. I'm pretty sure a cheap cable is just as good as an expensive one.Yeah, that's the direction that I'm heading. I just keep forgetting to do it.Zero delay. I had much more of a delay with the old HTIAB because of how I needed to connect everything. I haven't noticed any latency at all with this one. My TV does have a dedicated ARC, though, so that's probably helpful. I would suggest connecting to the TV via optical cable instead.
I went to Best Buy shortly after and decided not to pay $40 for an optical cable. I know they usually have cheaper ones, but in this case they only had the 5' one for $35+tax and another that was closer to $100.
If Walmart doesn't have one, I'll just snag one off Amazon. It's just an inconvenience at this point, but one that is becoming annoying.

Best buy charges outrageous stuff for cables whether it be HDMI or Optical or whatever. An 8$ optical cable will do the trick just fine.

I always bought cords from monoprice. They're pretty cheap and work well.

they used to carry a brand called Dynex or Dymex. The last time I needed an optical cable, that's what I bought. It couldn't have been more than $10, but it wasn't very long either.
But do I really need anything longer than 5 ft? Probably not.

Give it a try.If the video on the TV and audio from the Soundbar are not synchronized, press the (Sound Control) button to select AUDIO SYNC and then set the audio delay
between 0~300 milliseconds by using the Up/Down buttons.

Monoprice for all cables. Don't even bother looking elsewhere.

I bought a bunch of Amazon HDMI cables a few years ago, and wound up having some oddball issues. Then when I got my XSX, it wouldn't accept 4K HDR. Swapped the cable - which says it was rated for 4K HDR - with a really nice Monoprice cable, and bam, all problems gone.

Why didn't you use the cord that came with the XSX?

Need two cords - one goes from all components to my receiver, and then another from the receiver to the TV.Why didn't you use the cord that came with the XSX?

Alright so I've finally gone through each setting on my C1 and optimized everything first according to RTings then tweaking more to my liking. For one, RTings settings appeared too warm for me so I adjusted the white balance slightly. The out of the box color settings are surprisingly **** but holy hell proper color correction made a world of difference.
Now to determine what's better: HDR or Dolby Vision. Right now my Xbox is set for HDR while the AppleTV is on Dolby.

I've tested both on my Sony, and would probably need to see two sets side by side to really tell. I have Dolby Vision enabled full time on my XSX.

Is there a list of games actually mastered in DV? Just because it supports DV doesn't mean the same thing.

Same should apply to HDR10 (mastered vs. re-mastered).

I think it's just a product of my age.
I went from having my Atari hooked up with two prongs you screwed into the TV, to F Connector, to cable, to composite, to S-video, to component, then finally HDMI. Audio was similar until it diverted to coax digital then optical.
Now the progress has switched over to software side optimization and I can't really track it anymore.

My guess is we're around the same age, dodint. I said earlier that I now understand how old people suddenly get out of touch with technology because that's how I feel trying to understand this TV. When I bought my old TV in 2010 I knew everything there was to know about it. I didn't need a new one so I didn't keep up with the tech and now I'm feeling pretty overwhelmed with all the new **** I missed out on over the last 11 years.
