PS Vue has Hallmark, but I think Nick is one of those networks that likes to drive traffic to their own service.

I did some research and I think there are Nick shows on Hulu's on demand, so going the Hulu live route could solve that.PS Vue has Hallmark, but I think Nick is one of those networks that likes to drive traffic to their own service.

We have a Play 1. Use it during dinner and when friends are over. App-based, streams via Bluetooth from a mobile device. You wouldn't use it for critical listening, but it gets the job done for BG music.does anyone use sonos devices?

I have a Sonos play 5 in my office and a couple of play 1’s in my living room. They’re amazing. Highly recommend. The play 5 can do some real damage, but even the play 1’s have a big pop.
The Alexa and Spotify integrations work just as easy as expected too.

I know a few people who have Sonos gear, and they all love it, despite the cost. Most of them have them connected to their TVs (soundbars).

Man, Plex is really a great bit of software. Now it will add open source subtitles to movies and TV shows on your server, without having to add them manually. The GUI on all platforms (at least iOS, Android, PS3, and Samsung TV) is excellent and easy to use. Finally got live syncing (ie downloaded) content to devices working (for me at least) a few patches ago.

I love Plex, but it's got to be one of the worst apps on my TiVos. Absurdly slow.

Kicked off my free week of Hulu with Live TV to see if I like it. I love the set up on my phone, the TV is a little cumbersome. Still figuring things out.

F. So I can't go the NHL.tv route because the Pens are blacked out. So if I cut cable, how can I watch them?

no streaming service has ATTSN. You can either:
-Use reddit mlbstreams and nhlstreams
-Use a service like yonder.tv to mask your location and buy NHL.tv and MLB.tv (this is what I do). It's $30 a year and I'm positive there's a way to do it for free but it was very easy for me so whatever

Yeah, I think I misunderstood your original post. I'm starting to get waste deep into all this streaming crap outside of Netflix. Need to figure out these workarounds.

For anyone who was interested in Disney+ there is currently a promo going on during D23. You can pay $140 now for 3 years, making it right under $4 a month.
This is limited time, but if you're interested just signup for a free Disney D23 general membership, then under account you can sign up. I think I like the Hulu bundle offer better, but this is a good deal.

Just FYI the Hulu bundle is for the ad-version only.

yonder will get you around blackouts and has easy enough instructions to follow to set up. Like I said I'm sure the techies have a free solution to that but for $30 it was easy enough for meYeah, I think I misunderstood your original post. When I go under my account, I'm not seeing the option to sign up.
Any advice?

I used UnblockUs, which was somewhere around $4/month. Same concept, I'm sure. They have easy to follow instructions on their website for every possible device, plus their customer service is very responsive.

Looks like that 3 year deal might be for gold members only. Found this on Cnet, though can't say it's a reliable source.

Not planning on being in Anaheim this weekend? No problem! This three-year Disney Plus discount deal (minus the pin) will be available online after the Expo from Aug. 26 to Sept. 2. -- but only for D23 Gold members in the US. A D23 Gold membership to the Disney Fan Club costs $100 a year and provides VIP access to events, discounts and other goodies.

I used them for years, but they couldn't keep up with whatever Netflix was doing to detect VPNs, so I didn't renew it last year. It did work well for MLB.tv and NHL.tv, but I no longer subscribe to either service.I used UnblockUs, which was somewhere around $4/month. Same concept, I'm sure. This is extraordinary. I thought their base pricing was a T-box shot to Netflix, this is like doing it with a shotgun. For anyone who was interested in Disney+ there is currently a promo going on during D23. You can pay $140 now for 3 years, making it right under $4 a month.

Get this handled yet? If not, I'd seriously suggest a look at the 55" Sony X950G (with Sony's top of the line X1 Ultimate chip) currently on sale ($200 off) for $1100.Now just to secure the TV part...
Think I'll be getting either the 55" or the 65" this week...

It looks like if you just made an account on D23, it can take up to 36 hours to see/receive the offer via email.
Hopefully I see mine tomorrow.

Yeah, I just did a few days ago, but appreciate the heads up. I ended up with one of the TVs that NTP suggested (thank you), it's like a 55" LG or something for like $340 (my brain is still mush from a bachelor party -> live fantasy football draft weekend where I slept a total of four hours). Good enough deal for what I'll use it for...just got Fios installed yesterday, I'll have YouTubeTV, I have a free trial of slingbox from one of those purchases...I have all the NHL, major junior, USHL, Canadian Jr. A packages, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime TV whatever it's called, already on board...should be good...Get this handled yet? All I have to do is charge ten bucks a head for anyone walking into my place, and I'll be good to go...
