On their quarterly earnings call, Disney execs confirmed a pricetag for the bundled streaming offer they'd teased while announcing Disney+. While that service will cost $7.99 per month on its own, this push to bring cord cutters back into their fold adds on ESPN+ and ad-supported Hulu for $12.99 per month. That's about $5 less than subscribing to them separately, and it will be available as soon as Disney+ launches on November 12th.

I didn't realize it was coming this soon. That's a good deal.
I just realized I pay $11.99/mo for Hulu by itself.

no streaming service has ATTSN. You can either:

-Use reddit mlbstreams and nhlstreams
-Use a service like yonder.tv to mask your location and buy NHL.tv and MLB.tv (this is what I do). It's $30 a year and I'm positive there's a way to do it for free but it was very easy for me so whatever
Thanks. My biggest worry is cutting, but end up spending more than I do now because I want various pieces.
i went from 160/mo DTV to:

70/mo DTVNow
NHL.tv $140 (12/mo)
MLB.tv $119 (10/mo)
yonder $30 (3/mo)

so I am at 95 a month now if you break out the league subscriptions monthly. I have ESPN+ and netflix too but I have those before I cut the cable so I don't factor that in

Update on me, slightly nan related...

Went with Fios and their equipment because it was established my router was only good for Usenet groups about ASCII (I'm trying to meet you nerds halfway)...it comes with a free month of YouTube TV, which I think best suits my needs as I already have a separate NHL package.

That will start when I get back into town on 8/26. Now just to secure the TV part...

Are you certain on that start date? Is that the install date for FIOS?

Also, I remember TV Everywhere access being a negative of YouTube TV. That was a while ago, but you might want to double check access.

Some TV networks don't allow streaming via an OTT service on mobile devices. Instead, you have to stream directly from their site. But in order to do so, you have to provide your login credentials to your TV service to prove you are a paying customer. It's sort of like a single-sign-on thing for TV.

So if I go YoutubeTV or Hulu Live, I still need to stick with Armstrong for internet, correct?

And I'd need a Roku device or something similar to each TV I want to watch it on, correct? (Unless I have a smarttv with the app)

Another question, will you get your local networks on YoutubeTV or Hulu with LiveTV (ie. KDKA, WTAE, etc).

I think I'm down to those 2 after researching. Also, what speed internet should I have to be able to stream at least 3 TVs?

It varies by DMA. Pittsburgh is big enough (3 major sorts teams) that they probably offer locals.

Also, just get the biggest pipe your ISP offers. But I would say the 30 mbs range would be sufficient for three simultaneous full res streams. They probably have reqs on their site.

I have YouTube TV. It is the best. You get local channels.

Do you just get nhl.tv for the pens then? Does it stream well if I have 50mps?

We have a ROKU TLC 6 series I think in our living room. It's a good 4k tv, especially for the price I paid for it.

I prefer their interface honestly. We have Amazon stuff everywhere else cause of Alexa, but I still like the Roku interface a bit better.

Pretty sure every AirBnB I've ever been in that has a TV also had a Roku attached to it.

my TV with a Roku makes me feel like I'm using Windows 95 compared to the ones with a Fire Stick

I'm already to pull the trigger and just go YoutubeTV with NHL.tv and MLB.tv, and now my wife is pissed because there is no hallmark channel and the kids are mad because there are no Nick channels.

Tell the kids to cough up some money if they want Nick. May have to handle the wife a bit more delicately haha
