has anyone seen any info with setting up the disney plus account? I went through the D23 promotion, but have no idea about logging in or setting up an actual D+ account...
Did you get the welcome to Disney+ email? If so, you're good to go. You'll just login using your Disney credentials (same as D23, the Disney website, WDW, etc.) when the app is available.

Got Disney plus streaming, it was wonky on Android TV and froze, but seems to be fine on Roku. Wondering if I download mandalorian if that will help with first day issues? Think HDR will work if you download?

Having trouble launching it on FireStick.

Got the app and signed in, but can’t launch it.

It was choppy on roku for the first 3 minutes after install but worked just fine rest of the morning. Started watching Clone Wars as I've not watched that series.

I'm having issues. Won't open on my Android phone. Roku was REALLY slow, and the movies only pulled through the letter B.

I'm guessing it's due to everyone going on at once, plus them having to fine tune stuff and all of this will be worked out the next day or so. (hopefully).

But I had to leave for work, so it was no big deal. But me and the kids just wanted to explore around before school/work and didn't get to.

From watching gummi bears, I'm guessing they didn't clean up any of these old shows. It looked like I was watching it on VHS (which is pretty much how I remember watching it)

Most of the service is still down. I guess that should be expected but it's still disappointing, especially considering it's Disney and they should've been better prepared. Even more concerning is the episode orders of a lot of the older series are incorrect. Hopefully that gets fixed.

Side note: I've already had 4 friends/family ask me for my login info. That's annoying.

I'd tell them each to pitch in $2/month.

I told them I'm waiting to see how Disney handles password sharing. In reality, I know that I should be okay as long as I only give it out to 3 people since you can have 4 simultaneous streams.

sounds like the old 4:3 Simpsons episodes got stretched to 16:9 on D+. That's disappointing.

I couldn't get D+ to work at all at lunch and finally just got through on mobile and downloaded (1.6GB) the 1st episode of Mandalorian to cast if all else fails tonight. Do you think if I cast, the 4k/HDR will be what comes through?

On a similar note, Apple TV+ isn’t so hot right now, either: https://www.theverge.com/2019/11/11/209 ... ad-reviews

Flawless install, launch, and streaming on PS4. (Although it would not accept my initial password, despite being case-sensitive, and having a special character and a number.)

Have to switch to unlimited data to get free for a year with Verizon. Cheaper to just pay the 7$ month. Not in any hurry at this point though.

Can confirm. I had to install D+ on our PS4. The Hulu app is also **** on my Vizio.

So this is fun: There's no requirement to enter a password on the Disney+ app after you log in to a profile the first time. That means a child can defeat the parental lock on their profile simply by selecting mommy and daddy's profile within the app.

Granted, it's Disney stuff. But if you have littles and don't want them watching PG-13 stuff unattended, you've been warned!
