Trying to remember that pens game. Pretty sure the pens won. I remember Godard fighting someone from the Oil... Would it have been (former or future pen) Steve McIntyre?

Another Amazon/Discover deal: Get $10 Off When You Use 1 Discover Point ($60/$80/$100 Spend)

My offer was $10 off $100, but I've got nothing to buy right now.

I ended up picking up a set of 2003 Ford E-Series factory shop manuals for $12 with my $25 coupon.

The coupon is just "HAPPY25" on eBay so it may work, though I imagine the qualifying accounts are flagged for it.

Just tried it - not targeted. Are you a frequent eBayer? That may be it if so. I buy a fair bit on there, so it'd make sense that they don't want to give me free money.

Maybe 2-3 items a year. Was more active 10 years ago but now eBay seems to be a dumping ground for shitty unsold merchandise, like Big Lots. It used to be like the worlds biggest yard sale which was awesome. I actually enjoy browsing www.shopgoodwill.com more than eBay.

eBay ruined the vintage video game market, too. Once that got big it was hard to get deals in the wild as well. That might be a large part of why I stopped actively collecting.

I hate eBay, along with their fees, but sometimes it's the only place to go for things. Places like Best Buy sell on eBay, and charge less for shipping through there than on BB's own website. It's also where I go for hard to find stuff, like the remote volume control for my old ass computer speaker system.

I've been an eBay user for a while but unfortunately didn't get that eBay journey message. Shame.

I did, however, look back through my purchase history and find my purchase of a Sega Genesis (model 2) complete in original box + 2 controllers + 12 games for $43. I don't think I'll find a deal that good again for a vintage console.

I am 90% certain that my old Genesis, along with all of the games, is still in my parents house somewhere.

My mom gave my 2600, NES, and Genesis (plus all the games) to my grandmother to sell at a yard sale while I was away at college. I still haven't completely forgiven her.

Oof. I still have my 2600 and Coleco Vision, that I know for certain. I don't believe I have the NES any longer.

I have since re-bought a lot of what was sold at the yard sale. Or at least, what was worth re-buying. We had a lot of shitty games. Unfortunately all of my vintage consoles are stored away in boxes until we can renovate the basement.
