I still have those Klipsch speakers, although one no longer stands on it's own. If memory is correct, they were probably $80.

That Compaq laptop was bought some a small shop in Michigan and was sent back multiple times because the eraser-tip mouse was jammed and would constantly drift to the right. After the third time, they finally got it right and gave me a partial refund. Paid $200 for the laptop, and I think the refund was something like $30 or $50. Luckily they were eating all of the shipping costs. I actually had this laptop sitting in my spare closet of computer crap as recently as a year or two ago. Don't know why I decided to hoard an laptop that was underpowered when I first bought it.

That jersey was a game worn Rick Allain that I still have. Only remember this because July 2011 was right after my first move to Pittsburgh and that's about the time I started loading up on jerseys. The early 90s Chiefs was one I wanted because it had the original J logo but was also a heavier CCM. That seller also had two older game worns (one from their lone AAHL season, another from their original ECHL season) that were lighter and had heat-pressed numbers and NNOB. One jersey actually made it back to the player and the other has a standing offer to the player that if he wants it back, I'll sell it back at cost. Hopefully the previously mentioned player told the other player and didn't forget, otherwise that offer isn't worth much at all.

The Alpinestars jacket was my old riding jacket when I had my bike. It's long gone. I bought that when I had my first bike, but it was thrown in when I sold my last bike. Throwing in all of my accessories (helmets, visors, jacket, gloves, bike cover) helped me recoup some of the money on the bike when I sold it. Do I miss it? Not one bit.

Did it really take me almost nine years to watch my first item, and why a PS3? I'm thinking this was one of the OG PS3s that were backwards compatible. I definitely didn't buy that one. In fact, I didn't get a PS3 for another three years. Was I looking at one because of GTA IV being released a few months earlier?

Weird that eBay doesn't keep a tally of how much you've sold over the years.

On the flip side, Amazon will generate reports for how much you've bought for a given period. I did that. Once. And only once.

Also, wtf was I thinking selling tickets to a Pens game against the Flyers in 2006?

Feel your pain. I went once this year and shot an 85, my best round. A few foot wedges were in play and some breakfast balls as well, but again, I only play once a year so I'm taking it.

Almost got clipped when a car blew a stop sign at the bottom of a blind intersection. Missed my front end by maybe 10 ft. Locked up the back brake and thought I was gonna lose it. But long story short, I followed him for a few miles before he turned off into an alley and nothing happened. I may or may not have given him the finger as he turned. At that point, I went home, put the bike in the front yard (seen above), threw a For Sale sign on it, and that was it for me.

I've rode once after that pic above was taken and that was to the car wash to spray the bike off since a shitload of pollen caked the bike after sitting for a few weeks. Actually broke even on the sale, but threw in a bunch of accessories that I listed in my last post. I didn't want to deal with selling that stuff on eBay and everybody who I rode with (when I did long rides, which was few and far between) already had stuff so they didn't need anything.

That's crazy. Very similar thing happened to me. Redneck in a farm truck ran a red light at 6:15am and almost got me.. Adrenaline spiked something fierce but I was trapped on the wrong side of a jersey barrier.

I hate eBay, along with their fees, but sometimes it's the only place to go for things. Places like Best Buy sell on eBay, and charge less for shipping through there than on BB's own website. It's also where I go for hard to find stuff, like the remote volume control for my old ass computer speaker system.
Since the pandemic has started, I've made nearly 2 grand selling old useless sht on eBay. Granted, like half of that came in the form of 3 rare gun stocks and a NWT pens jersey but still.

I am thinking about liquidating my jersey stock. I got real into it about 15 years ago, then just completely lost interest one day. Now I am just lugging them around.

I’ve got a pretty decent jersey/soccer kit set, but I won’t be selling any of it, ever.

I have a big box of now discontinued, unopened LEGO sets - mostly Star Wars, the Back to the Future DeLorean, and few others. I’m going to wait a few more years and double or triple my money on them. Unopened Star Wars sets get ridiculous prices.

I really wanted to buy more of them, but the family CFO told me to GTFO

I'm kicking that around too. My plan at one point was to try to collect one jersey of each NHL team along with a few teams that no longer exist. My game room won't support that at all. I have two framed jerseys hanging (one Mario with Vegas gold, one Sid 08 WC, both signed) along with a few pics. Anything more on that wall would be overkill.

Ideally I'd sell off all of the non-Penguins jerseys, but I'd admittedly very lazy when it comes to listing anything on ebay. At one point I had a corner of my office piled up with old computer stuff and some hockey stuff that was passed on in a "hey, do you want this?" type of deal. It sat there for probably close to two months before I threw all of the computer stuff in a tote and dropped at a thrift shop. Of course, I ended up donating a 15 inch 4:3 monitor that I now need for the mini arcade that I'm working on and haven't been able to find one at a reasonable price.

If you can get some asphalt burns on it, could you pass it off as game/life-used...?
