Massive multi category woot-off today- been watching woot, computers.woot and electronics.woot.... nothing.

$319 refurb Xbox One that you can get for less first quality on Amazon.

The refurb SB6121 for $29.99 (link) on woot is a steal for those of you on Comcast. I've bought three of these over the last couple of years for family members, and paid more than $45 for each of them, all refurbs.

Amazon had a pretty good Lightning deal for Samsung EVO 512GB SSDs yesterday, and it sold out in minutes.

I have a SB6121 and while I've never had an issue with it, I don't think it can handle above 130Mbps or so.

It's rated for 172Mbps, and the only company that I can think of limiting this particular modem to 50Mbps is TWC. You shouldn't have an issue on Comcast, but if you're going for service that high (>100MB), your best bet will be a SB6141 or greater.

Comcast bumped me from 105 to 150 recently and sent a nastygram saying I needed to buy new equipment. I knew that was garbage as this is a Docsis 3.0 modem, but from some digging I did learn that it's speed is more limited than better models.

I've never noticed anything above 130, but obviously that could just be the connection I'm getting (though I did consistently have a 105 signal before).

If you're looking for a new cordless drill kit, Amazon has a Dewalt kit as their Deal of the Day today, and it's a pretty good one ($100 off): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CSDIMXY

lol. This usually always goes down to personal preference with the brand. Makita (which is what I use now), Milwaukee, and Dewalt are my top 3 in terms of cordless power tools. Switched from Craftsman many years ago.

Target's Black Friday deals are pretty decent. Their pre-Black Friday toys/kids deals were outstanding, too. Bought my daughter her first bicycle and basically all of her birthday and Christmas gifts at one time using their 20% off coupon code, a $10 off $100 code, and the usual RedCard 5% discount. Saved a small fortune that way.

This, especially since the bigger stores have finally started allowing a majority of their BF deals to be enjoyed online. That wasn't always the case.
