The reason I asked is because I was going to recommend the Rubbermaid FastTrack system for storing your stuff. I don't have a big shed out back, so that has saved me. Kinda wish I did have a big, walk in shed, though...
I need to look into this just to get all the boxes and stuff off the ground and things organized.
I have probably a dozen of them throughout my entire garage, and love the system. This is an older photo, but I also have our bikes hanging from bike hooks on the system now, too.

Image
Holy ****, that is impeccable. Can you come over and do that to my garage? I'm too embarrassed to post a picture of my garage aka the portal where hell opened up and let demons into this planet

Do those things work on Concrete walls to??... the back wall of the garage, and the far side wall are exposed concrete, only the one wall nearest the door is drywall.
You can use concrete screws to mount them, yes, but you may want to do a dry run with a single screw first. My parents concrete garage is damn near impossible to drill into, even with a powerful electric drill.

I was planning on building some shelves myself in the garage this winter. But with the price of lumber seeming to rise daily, I may have to look into alternative storage systems. Cost me close to $150 just to build a 4x2x6 shelf in my shed. $50 just for the freaking plywood
I was all set to build some shelves this summer, then the lumber shortage hit. I ended up going with this:
https://www.lowes.com/pd/edsal-24-in-D- ... it/3172913

I got it for $150, which once I figured in my time, was less than buying all the wood and building them myself.

I tried my neighbor's Makita hammer drill and Tapcons at my parents house, and it was virtually a no-go.

Who the hell knows, man. It was insane. The original owner was actually the builder, so maybe.

eddy: $149 for the Echo Studio and 2 Philips Hue bulbs. Buying it based on your recommendation... don't let me down.
You get the studio? Thoughts?
The Studio definitely sounds better than my 2nd gen Echo. Not sure I’d be as happy with it if I didn’t get it for a nice discount, though, but perhaps that’s because I’m not terribly impressed with Amazon HD Music? I went through a number of songs, and quite honestly didn’t hear a huge difference.

I ran into that in the field a couple times. Had to use strongarm bits designed for drilling into safes and vaults.

Any good deals on 70 inch TVs? I was looking for something under $1k, and found this on Best Buy. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsung-70 ... Id=6428508

I just got the class 7 65” version of that tv (not sure what the difference is between 6), and we really like it. I’m not a television geek by any stretch, but picture quality is really good and seems like deep blacks and crisp colors. My biggest complaint is that the integrated system to move from one platform to another can be a bit slow when you turn the tv on. After about 30 seconds it’s fine, so not a big issue by any means.

Thanks. I believe the 6 series has more preloaded streaming options

Any good deals on Lowes gift cards? I need to buy about $1500 of flooring and would love to save some money.

Buy from the Iggle and get those fuel perks? Depending on what you drive, that might be $50-60 in gas. It may not be upfront savings, but it's also not money that you're not spending later.

Google Pixel 4a 5g is on sale through Google for $350. It has the exact same new dual camera and software as the pixel 5. Didn't think I needed to upgrade from the 3a, but that is a hell of a deal. Also has 128gb storage

I can't find this one. I see the 4a for 350 but don't see the 4a 5g for 350.

We wanted to upgrade my son's iPhone 7 for Christmas, but because of the shuffling of phones last year, we were still "paying" for that phone and couldn't upgrade it. It had been paid for for years, but the installments are tied to phone numbers not the actual device itself. By the time I got an actual human on the phone at Verizon and switched the payment to another line, the deal they had on the XR for $5 a month expired. Now it's $20+ a month.

I see it under shopping in the Google fi app. I think it's actually$300 if you are new to fi as well, so maybe you have to have them as a carrier?

I missed the slickdeals offer mac posted, but Dollar General has Lowes gift cards for 10% off today only. Saves me $100. I probably should have got another $500 card, but felt greedy, ha.

Best buy is doing pixel 5 for 500 if Verizon so decided to take the 200 off and go.

Bravado Spice has 50% off their hot sauces/spicy margarita mixes/spicy seasoning. Plus extra 10% if you give them your email. Plus free shipping for orders >$75.

All of their sauces are awesome - except for Creamy Herb Jalapeno (which tastes extremely "oily"). They are my "go to" brand, because they offer interesting sauces, but are not super overpriced like, say, Cutino, Queen Majesty, etc.
