Thanks for the tip on their app. While I wasn't able to make use of the last sale, their app at least let me use Apple Pay for the 5% cashback on Discover card right now. Ordered burnt ends from some BBQ place in NYC since they offered free shipping and seem to have really good reviews. Here's hoping, at least.Source of the post 25% off if you use their new app.

Man, I keep thinking about buying a smoker, but the price is putting me off. BIL is buying a pro one for $1k, so I'm going to just donate the meat so that he can smoke it for me. Works out well for both of us.

You can find decent pellet smokers for sub $500 almost anywhere now. Even the wood smokers if you want a weber, I'd sell you one for like $150 lol, comes with the smoker, and auto fan.

I don't think I'd want a wood smoker. Everything I've read points to a pellet smoker being where I'd want to go. I think mac has one, too?

Yea, pellet smokers I think for ease and use are superior which is why I'd sell the wood smoker I started on lol.

I do, a members mark traeger copycat. Pellet smokers are often called the crock pot of smokers but it works great and is very easy to use. Usually Sam's club has their models on sale at the end of the year.I don't think I'd want a wood smoker. Everything I've read points to a pellet smoker being where I'd want to go. Yeah. The max temp is like 400. It'll do both, it is definitely a better smoker than a grill, but it does get hot enough to do steaks and burgers pretty wellIs it a combo smoker/grill?I do, a members mark traeger copycat. I started on wood so I could learn the technique. If people "care" about learning the hobby and the sport of it, a wood smoker is a must. Now that I have a kid, a pellet smoker is supreme because of the time saved, cook consistency, and I can still enjoy being outside drinking beer and smoking a cigar.looking back in time i wish i would have bought a pellet smoker but do appreciate the subtly of the art with traditional smokerI don't think I'd want a wood smoker. My uncle gifted me his old Weber smoker so that's what I have at the moment. It's definitely an art and not a plug and play piece of equipment. I've had a 6 lb pork butt sitting in my freezer for a few months because I know it will take 10-12 hours to smoke, and I'm not good enough yet to let it go on its own. And I don't have a weekend to just waste smoking meat.
Yeah, the end product will most likely be very good, but the return is not worth the investment just yet. If I had a pellet smoker, that pork would have been gone a long time ago.

That's almost exactly what I stopped on the wood smoker. I hated the hour prep time at 2 in the morning, or 10 am before and having to nurse a fire through. Fantastic result, felt more accomplished, but let me just throw it on the pellet smoker and go to bed.

x2. I had an upright style smoker until the bottom rotted out of it and I upgraded to the pellet. Haven't looked back since. I love that I can wake up, turn a knob, throw the meat on and go back to bed. You don't even have to manage cooker/pit Temps because the pellet does that for you.I started on wood so I could learn the technique. My Ring Doorbell Pro had gone offline randomly a few times over the last few weeks, and just recently became pixelated. Quality was subpar, especially for 1080p. It's out of warranty, so I wasn't expecting a replacement from Ring, but I did call them to see if there was any troubleshooting step I missed (nope). I asked them if they had any deals for existing customers, and I'd upgrade to a Pro 2 right now. She put me on hold for a minute and then came back with a 35% off coupon code, so I got a brand new one for $155 after taxes - hell of a deal. Looking forward to a little clearer video (1536p).

Funny, I have an Allen Sports bike rack for my wife's SUV, which we paid $49 for a number of years ago. It's also included in the Prime Day deal for $92. Terrific quality rack, FWIW.

Damn it. I bought the bike rack. Just in case I ever need to take the SUP/Kayak and bikes at the same time. Can't go wrong for $16.
