Re-watch update: bron = overrated

Would kill babies. Works solely for money. Fights for the lannisters. Not as funny or charming or capable of an actor as you remember.

Overrated? Maybe. I can see the argument anyway.

Average character? Nah.

Average actor? Sure.

Bron is actually a better character on the show than in the books. Some of it has to do with the fact he's more involved on the show.

Bronn is a straight talker in a world full of liars. He's told Tyrion point blank on numerous occasions that as soon as he runs out of money, he's gone. I respec that

.....and? Tywin-Arya is great. It would not be as good without those actors/characters.

Same for Brienne-Jaime, etc.

IT REMAINS A BAD TAKE SHMENGY

Here's some bullshit the show glossed over and maybe the books did too

Jaime and brienne return to KL together. Sansa is still there. And Jaime does jack squat to even pretend to fulfill his vow. Ok fine. Makes sense.

But brienne...how on earth does she have any patience for him ever again? How is she even in the same room with him without forcing the issue. This is a big deal.

Like, IRL it would go, "I finally brought you home. Now hand over Sansa. Joffrey could rape/torture her at any moment. Like seriously. I don't need a shower or anything. Just give her to me and we're gonna peace out. Why are you standing there. Go. Now."

...and that would be the first conversation. They wouldn't even wait until they got to the gates. Remembering now that Jaime was possibly still on the road in the books when Joffrey died/Sansa escaped?

Also not sure why we were supposed to have mixed feelings about egret and her death. She ransacked a peaceful farming village and murdered a bunch of people who wouldn't have put up a fight. F*** that lady. her death was a great thing.

Ygritte had it coming, and her death sat well with me, temporary fling be damned.

Also...Ramsay yanked the skin off of a zillion northerners whose families may have had an interest in being part of his demise.

This is not a contest. Rape is bad m'kay, but Sansa didn't deserve to hog all that fun for herself. Didn't even hang out to see the finale. Put him in the middle of town, peel his skin off and feed it to his dogs if you must involve them. Though I'm not a flayer...I don't know if that's better or worse than being eaten alive.

...with that said, battle of the bastards was even better on rewatch. Despite this. And rickon not knowing about X and Y axis. And Sansa keeping the little finger thing secret and costing arguably thousands of men their lives
