I think I feel the same way about the finale that I do about seasons 7 and 8. I have zero problem with the story they chose to tell. The finale, like the majority of seasons 7 and 8, would have benefited from more time to tell the story.

There is no defending that. It was real bad. Like it was comically bad at points. The writing was laughable with some of that dialogue.
