Now THAT was the worst episode of the season.

5 episodes into Haunting of Hill House and I had trouble sleeping last night. This show is really well done. (also nice to see Dr. Jacoby from Twin Peaks in here)

Was that "Bent-Neck Lady"? The end of that one stuck with me. Damn, that's such a good series. We'll be finishing the last episode this weekend. One of the ones you hate to see end.

yes that's the one. That was an extremely emotional episode. I hope the 2nd half of this season is as good. Is this supposed to come back for a 2nd season or is this it?

I often feel like I’m talking myself in this thread, but the sequel to Deutschland ‘83 called Deutschland ‘86 is out on Sundance network.

The first season was excellent, like the German version of the Americans. I’m thinking you won’t miss much by starting with the new season, as the cast has changed a bit...and it’s three years in the future. But if you can find the first season, it’s definitely worth watching.

I've tried to track that down but can never seem to find '83 streaming anywhere.

Yeah, when it originally aired neither family members I steal cable credentials from had Sundance network.

I couldn't even get through the entire episode.

I liked all of it very much but the ending was way too sappy and happy for me. I kinda dig that the house is where people can be together forever but Steve should have ended up sad and alone and Shirley should have been divorced, not for her affair, but for being a judgemental see you next Tuesday.

I was thinking writers strike season came later in Friday Night Lights, but 2 episodes into the 2nd season and it's already off the rails

I was thinking writers strike season came later in Friday Night Lights, but 2 episodes into the 2nd season and it's already off the rails

Season 2 ended at 15 episodes because of the strike. The entire season was an attempt to make the plotlines more "extreme" due to the low ratings of S1. I think it's fine, but it's by far the worst season of the show. The best part of the season is, of course, the continued existence of Lyla Garrity.

Final season of House of Cards releases to Netflix on Friday. Looking forward to seeing how it gets wrapped up.
