2nd part of he-man was a lot of fun. Very happy with how this turned out.

We finished 'Only Murders in the Building' last night. That was a surprisingly terrific show, and we're looking forward to season 2. I called the murderer a few episodes before they were revealed.

Sad to see F is for Family is finished. It's been a fall staple for us since it debuted. The final season was only 8 episodes, too.

Decided to binge the final season of Lost in Space and it took me only 2 1/2 episodes to realize that I was watching Season 2 again.

We're still catching up on Curb, but watched the "Irasshaimase!" episode last night. The scenes in Katsuya were hilarious.

He's good in roles like this. I think he's been great this season.

It's weird that he's not playing himself, but that perrier scene was great, and so was the funeral.

I hate his face. Similar to Will Ferrell; his presence is just too distracting for me. But, Curb is supposed to be uncomfortable so it works.

Was planning on waiting for the succession season to end to renew HBO max, but got a logon from a friend, so got caught up with the show (Succession).

Nobody watching that here, I can't fully place why I like it so much. I think one thing is that, kind of like how the first season of House of Cards portrayed DC politics in way that brings you into that private world, this does with their company.

I've thought of watching Succession, as I think it would strike the same nerve that Billions does, but I've heard that every single character is awful so I've been hesitant.

That's the interpretation that seems to resonate with people, I think that's too simple actually.

The oldest son is a sad and pathetic fail-son. He's not awful, he's just cringe.
Kieran Culkin is also pathetic, but in a different way, he's just constantly acting out because he's insecure, stupid, and over his head in every encounter he ever has.
The sister is awful, but that's only because her mannerisms remind me of my sister, and it annoys me. But mostly, she's also just an over-achiever that falls apart whenever anything doesn't go her way. Her husband is awful, he's like the quintessential kiss-up, punch-down persona.
The other brother is just comic relief, like Greg, who is sort of like the Michael character in arrested development, but a different kind of opposite. Where Michael was the voice of reason surrounded by twits, Greg is seal swimming around a bunch of orcas.
The patriarch is just a tour-de-force, he's awful, but there's no show without him being this way. He's the puppet-master.

I don't get that. Especially the last two episodes. I agree the early episodes where the Kendall "me-too" hero thing was driving the story, then it just ends with nothing.

Yeah, I'm waiting for the season to end so I can watch it without waiting each week (Succession).

It does feel similar to Billions, but yes, most of the main characters are awful.
