I’m sure Tif can tell us about the myriad delusional actors in LA and how the show isn’t that far off.

Barry’s a good show, but I can understand that take.
It's a great show concept. It's just that a few of the characters arent characters, they are caricatures. Over done caricatures. A lot of the show is good though. I only got season 1, Netflix, so I have to wait for season 2.

Has anyone watched Your Honor yet? You can't really go wrong with Cranston. I'm currently nearing the end of my two months of Showtime for $2/mo but I might hold over if that series is any good.

Watched a light BBC show called "Ghosts" about a young couple that inherits an old English manor with ghosts. The ghosts are a comedy troupe that did Horrible Histories and a few other shows. Very light, only two series with six episodes each of 30 minutes or so. Just had a Christmas special on a few nights ago that was funny as well.

The lead actress - not part of the comedy troupe - looks like another American actress. I won't say who, but check it out and let me know what you think.

Simon Farnaby, nice. He's also in Detectorists, which is fabulous, but you philistines won't listen to me.

I noticed that! It isn't streaming on anything I subscribe to though.

It's on YouTube. Not a great option, of course.

Speaking of HBO Max, I was not impressed with the quality. WW84 was in Dolby Vision, yet did not look that good, and in a lot of scenes actually looked grainy.

Just finished The Shield season 1. I regret not starting this sooner.
It gets better.
Just finished season 2 (money train conclusion). This is quickly turning into one of my favorite shows of all time, and I’m having a difficult time not binging the rest of it while I’m off work this week. Can’t wait to start season 3 tomorrow to see what happened after the firings.
