just got through the 2nd season of Community. I forgot a lot of these episodes and have no idea how this show wasn't more successful, it's so damn funny

HBO won't pursue second season of 'Watchmen' after creator bows out

"Watchmen" won a loyal following and critical acclaim, as the superhero comics series was adapted into a politically relevant drama about race and the criminal justice system.

But don't look for a second season of the drama, which wrapped up its nine-episode run last month, largely because creator Damon Lindelof isn't interested in doing it.

You know, with how it ended, I'm okay with this. It was terrific.

You know, with how it ended, I'm okay with this. It was terrific.

I’m disappointed but happy. Would hate to see a pretty much perfect season brought down by a lackluster continuation, but it was so **** good that I want more. Wouldn’t surprise me in the least if a couple years down the line Lindelof has an idea he deems worthy and we get a Vol. 2.

Aaron Hernandez series on Netflix is pretty good. Just watched one episode so far, but interesting.

Pouncey Bros show up in episode two. Not a good look for either of them.

Apu will still be on the show, but no longer voiced by Hank Azaria. In response to "racial steroetyping" something something.

In 2017, the comedian Hari Kondabolu’s documentary “The Problem With Apu” forced Mr. Azaria, who is white, to reckon with his portrayal of the Kwik-E-Mart owner who speaks with a pronounced Indian accent. The film attempted to trace the origin story of Apu and put the character in a broader context of Hollywood depictions of Indians.

In the documentary, Mr. Kondabolu, who is of South Asian descent, called Apu “a white guy doing an impression of a white guy making fun of my father.” Others featured in the film recounted how the character Apu provided bullies with fodder when they were young.

In the last month, I’ve read rumors of Daredevil returning (with Charlie Cox and Krysten Ritter), and just now see a rumor about Punisher possibly getting a season 3 on Hulu.

Make all of this happen, damnit. ALL OF IT.

I still haven’t watched S3 of Daredevil or S2 of Punisher because of the cancellations. **** Netflix. Really hope they’re given the chance to continue. Didn’t watch S3 of JJ, S2 of Luke Cage, or S2 of Iron Fist because of general apathy toward inferior shows. I think those three are better off together in a Heroes for Hire type show.

I also didn't watch DD Season 3 either. I do want to though, much like Punisher season 2... just haven't got around to it.

I didn't like DD season 2 so I didn't bother with season 3. If Marvel shows me these shows matter, I'll go back and watch them all.
