Wandavision is pretty good. A little more discussion in the Marvel thread, but it ties in the blip period - post Thanos snap.
It starts out very odd and slow, but builds by episode 4 and 5. If you’re a Marvel fan, you’ll dig it.

It's one of my all time favorites. Yes, the ending was perfect.Finished the Americans today. Off the top of my head, I can’t think of a better final season (as a whole). Minus the hilarious thanksgiving toast, even g-man Stan had some rad moments. I feel like the show just got better, wasn’t like, a peak season 3 then decline.
On a side note, what is wandavision, I don’t ever remember marvel tweets about anything before, but I see stories and comments on that show everyday.

Rewatching Freaks and Geeks and it's crazy how many people from this show went on to have a big career. Obviously you have the main cast, who are all stars now. John Francis Daley, who doesn't act much these days, has gone on to a successful career as a screenwriter (Horrible Bosses, Vacation, Spider-Man: Homecoming). And then you even have the guest stars who pop in for one or two episodes like Lizzy Caplan, Rashida Jones, a pre-Even Stevens Shia LaBeouf. This show should've ran for at least 3-4 seasons. It's so good.

Why is she not the star of this show let alone every show?

The spoiler is for season 3, and it’s not much of a spoiler per se. In fact, it should be enjoyed by all.I just finished E06, and have been trying to pace myself.

Went back through 1-12 and all the Swartzwelder and Vitti penned episodes after. So good, so many good jokes even after the "peak" years. We've been watching a lot of Simpsons recently. Truly an historic show.

Season 12 might be my favorite but season 7 is also very good.

So, I'm into two episodes of this show and it's very good. Lots of action, obviously. If you want good action, Warrior is now streaming on HBOmax. Current cinemax show with 2 seasons, though its future is up in the air. Just finished S1. Everything is just the right amount of over-the-top. A lot of great hand-to-hand combat, with plenty weapon variants to boot. Like most shows, takes a few eps to really find it's footing and gain some momentum. It's a lot of fun.Just finished S2, and damn is this show fun. So many great fight sequences. Again, highly recommended for anyone looking to inject some action into their viewing lineup, especially if you enjoy anything martial arts.I've had that one in my queue, after an author I like raved about it.
It's actually based off a treatment Bruce Lee wrote for himself way back in the day but was never picked up. Apparently his daughter discovered it after taking over his estate.
Pretty cool way of shifting between Cantonese and English (as most of the cast aren't native Cantonese speakers, obviously)
It's also got early seasons Game of Thrones-level of sex and nudity in it. Living up to the Cinemax brand, I guess.

Season 3-10 are my absolute favorites. Can watch over and over.Went back through 1-12 and all the Swartzwelder and Vitti penned episodes after. So good, so many good jokes even after the "peak" years. We've been watching a lot of Simpsons recently. Truly an historic show.
Season 1 and 2 are more nostalgic and I can watch.
I still watch all new episodes on Sunday because I can't break a 33 year habit, but it lost it's luster outside of a handful of episoded over the last 20 years.

My boss is also a jerk, relative to industry norms. Not sure why that would be public news.
It’s like Salma Hayek’s smoking gun about how her career prospects were tangentially related to how much of her boobs we all get to see. Well, yeah. Hollywood is like that. Especially when the acting talent is marginal - which is why I’d wager Joss Weeden (sp?) treated Charisma Carpenter differently than Scarlet Johansen.
Show biz ain’t real life. You’re gonna deal with some jerks. If they break the law, go fight. If they’re just insensitive meanies, maybe talk to a therapist about this complicated landscape.

I don't think the argument against Whedon was that he was just a jerk. Between the earlier reports and this, it sounds like it was much worse, for a lot of people.
