We are one season into Peaky Blinders. How are the remaining seasons? Worth it?

I love it. definitely worth it imo. Tom Hardy comes in soon and he's terrific.

Yes. Very much so. I think it gets better as it moves into later seasons.

Great to hear. Some shows wither with later seasons, so I didn't want to waste time if it went into the crapper right away.

Oh wow. I had no idea that was happening. The graphic novels were intense and violent. This feels way more YA.

Joe Hill's a great storyteller but the adaptations of his work so far have been lacking.

I've always wanted to read the GN, might try and get around to that soon. Welcome to Lovecraft looks like it starts the series?

Yup. Life got in the way and I never actually finished the series. Maybe I'll do that before I watch the show.

Such a good show.

Let me know if it stays that way for you. The trailers looked interesting, but I was hesitant to start it because of it being canceled and then picked up.

I just recently started binge watching Peaky and it's really good. Just recently finished season 4 and I am through 2 episodes of 5.

My only big complaint so far
Adrien Brody's young Don Vito Corleone impression was way over the top and I just wanted to laugh everytime he spoke

Quality is pretty damn good, and I like that it's more grounded than Trek. It's straight sci-fi, without the space fantasy elements (light speed and whatnot).

‘Young Frankenstein’ to Get Live Musical Treatment at ABC

Mel Brooks is bringing the musical stage version of his iconic film “Young Frankenstein” to ABC.

Brooks will produce the ABC version, with casting and an airdate to be announced at a later date. This will mark just the second live musical that ABC has staged, following the successful live run of “Little Mermaid” starring Auli’i Cravalho and Queen Latifah back in November.
The only reason I think this may work is because Brooks is producing it. Anyone but him, and I'd hate the idea.

i just came in to post that I started watching it this week. It's great. And seems to be perfect timing that I'll finish season 2 in a week or so and season 3 will be out in 2 months. Started out pretty depressing though

Just started season 1. If I had known Jay Hernandez was in it, even in a minor role, I’d have checked it out sooner. He’s terrific in the new Magnum PI.

I, too, am enjoying The Expanse. I'm on S03 E04 and the ending is... intense.

Super late on this, but I binged Orange is the New Black over the last several weeks. Darn good show. Lost some steam in the last two seasons but finished strong.

Ditto on Expanse. I'm only two episodes in and hooked.
