Do you think HBO passed on it because of the quality or cost? What else annoys you about it?

I'm guessing HBO passed on cost and I could be wrong, but I didn't think the Pacific did what BoB did for them. I'm annoyed by Apple so that's first for me. I always liked how HBO put their stuff out on bluray and it was always top quality. I hope apple will do the same because I have zero interest in investing in their streaming or tech

In fact, if they cut the Leckie storyline, expanded the other storylines it would have been a much better series.

Fwiw, The Pacific actually won more Emmys than Band of Brothers. Given that Masters had been in development for five+ years, and how tight-lipped HBO appears to be about this, I wouldn't be surprised if it was not HBO that passed on Masters so much as it was Amblin/Playtone who passed on HBO.

Also with seeing how Anistons morning show is getting paid, I'm sure they are getting paid big time as well. Apple is backing up the cash truck trying to get into this.

the series finale of ballers was terrible. the whole season was very sloppy. they build up this big tension between spencer and joe where they each spent millions and millions of dollars trying to sabotage each other and they finally see each other and apologize and they are BFF. not good
