Am I imagining this, or did Naomi's belter accent get much more pronounced in season 4?

About halfway season three, she begins the Belter accent.

There was obviously a “Fall Finale” where Errinright resigns, the Agatha King mutiny, Naomi goes back to Tycho and begins working on the Nauvoo with the the Belters in the next episode. Naturally, she wants to fit in with them and picks up the accent. Similarly, when my wife spends time with her family, she picks up a southern accent - one that she worked hard to get rid of for professional reasons.

Good catch - that’s when I noticed it starting, and thought that might have been season 4.

first ep of Locke and Key was pretty cool. Hopefully some of the acting gets a little better, but I dug the Savini talk in the first hour.

Anybody else watching "James May: Our Man in Japan" on Prime? Enjoying it more than your usual travel show as you get the weirdness/beauty of Japan, and also May's dry British humor. Think it's only 6 episodes, and shot in 4K, so, can't go wrong IMO.

I am just beginning episode 12, season 3 of The Expanse. I would have been PISSED if the show ended at conclusion of season 3.

Season 3 episode 7 or 8

I'm not feeling David Strathairn's character or accent. It seems...really put on. Maybe because he's a good actor? I didn't feel that way about Jared Harris's Belter accent. It's odd.

I'm also trying figure out Drummer's Belter accent, like she's speaking Belter with a Chinese accent. The actress is from Canada, and doesn't have an accent. It's fascinating (all of the accents in the show).

I know there are a lot of IASIP fans here, so has anyone checked out Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet? It's on Apple TV+, unfortunately, but it sounds interesting: a comedy about a video game developer with a popular World of Warcraft type game.

I'm worn out by this show.

Don't get me wrong. It's awesome.

But it's a lot to take in at times.

I actually really like his accent. It seems very authentic, and what I’d expect a pureblood Belter to sound like. Drummer sounds like a mix of something, but also interesting. And I agree, no way could they leave it like that after season 3. I’ve still got 2-3 episodes to go in season 4, and if what I want to happen doesn’t happen, I’ll be very disappointed.

We just started The Outsider on HBO. Really liking it. It reminds me of True Detective except when it was good.

That sounds great (although I liked S3 of True Det) I thought previews looked good, can't wait to get around to watching it.

Is S2 of Westworld any good? I sorta forgot about that one and see S3 is coming out and it looks pretty wild

I just watched it a month ago. I heard it was bad. But maybe since i went in with low expectations i really liked it. If S1 was an easy 9+ this was an easy 8+ So i recommend it

3 episodes into the expanse and I'm blown away. And they're some of the lowest rated on imdb. I could rewatch these three and catch a ton i missed and enjoy them even more. Some of the visuals of the stations are so awesome i wish the cut scenes were 10 seconds

How was this on syfy? I mean the channel was pretty cool but this is hbo level peak. Almost done with ep4. This is AMAZING. Easy top 10 tv show non comedy already. Likely top 7. And now I'm thinking i better watch the shield finally too
