I honestly can't recall what you're talking about here, but most of the "behind the scenes" stuff in Attenborough's documentaries are like this (which I watched last night, and ripped this from the ending):I disagree. When this is aired on TV it's just aired as Blue Planet II, and then it ends up being an hour of people complaining about their jobs. Watched a woman last night in tears because she didn't get to see a certain species spawn. It's more 'reality' TV than I would like from BP which was cool because it was pretty much devoid of people.
Obviously that's easily remedied by not watching it on TV so you can pick and choose what you want to see, the real documentary or the extra bits. But I don't always have the remote, so....
I love stuff like this, because you get to see just how they get these amazing shots of animal behavior. How they're able to follow a story line from start to finish on such a consistent basis is remarkable.
