Annual Band of Brothers binge in effect. I’m so attached to these characters - even though the soldiers are long gone, it will be tough when the actors eventually pass away.
Still one of the best things ever created. The actors did such an amazing job that the series resonates emotionally no matter how many times I watch.

Finished Halt and Catch Fire last night. As with everything in that show, it wrapped up pretty much perfectly. No loose ends, just enough "I wonder what if..." to leave you satisfied. Such a shame that show never got its due.

I look forward to watching it again in about ten years. The leaps in time between the seasons bothered me at first, but looking back at the 15 years or so the show arc'd over it's really compelling to see characters make choices in their present that you can contextualize with knowledge of their past choices.

Just, fantastic really.

Watched Mindhunter on Netflix finally and really enjoyed the season. Ed Kemper is amazing and if you look at the side-by-side comparison to the real life interviews, that actor really nailed it.

Should be interesting to see how season 2 is.

We just started this and I'm having a hard time. I just don't feel the drive or excitement to start the next episode.

It was kind of weird that they start the show with such a violent act, but then the rest of it is a lot of talking, but knowing this is loosely based on how they established what is now widely and generally accepted procedures for profiling perps keeps me entertained. That and they throw in the occasional local case or a sex scene.

Give Mindhunter a few episodes. It gets better as the season goes along. It finishes strong and the serial killer interviews/interactions are really good as the season goes on.

On the new version of Man Vs. Food, they did a couple spots on a couple Pittsburgh joints. I caught the middle of the first locations, filmed at a brewery where they did a yummy take off on Buffalo chicken with Potato and Cheddar Perogies, and then a sandwich shop that makes a 5lb meat, cheese, french fries sandwich that is called the Stuffalufagus. The challenge is you and another person have to eat it in 30 minutes for a free T-Shirt.

Don't want to spoil it for anyone that is interested in seeing if the two guys could finish it, but, if gluttony is in fact a sin,
these guys aren't gonna need to eat anything the devil serves for a long, long time...

Definitely to each their own. But I feel like there's something I'm missing with 15 Million Merits. You're not the first person I've seen that thinks this is a great/highest rated episode but I just don't get it...I thought it was one of the dumbest/least interesting.

I don't know that I could rank all definitively for myself, but I do know that Shut Up and Dance is my favorite of all. Metalhead, Waldo, Hated in the Nation, and Men Against Fire would definitely be in the bottom for me.

Surprised you have Crocodile ranked so low - I thought it was great, if not extremely disturbing.

I frequent there often, never tried that monstrosity. I believe this place basically started from ex Primanti bros. employees. Decent beer selection.

We’re still in the middle of a season, which returns soon. The only question mark really is future seasons.

Right. They'll finish up this one, but I feel like it's getting into the good part, and realistically they can go through another 2-3 seasons of good story telling before he becomes Batman. I hope it makes it.

I really enjoy Lucifer as well, but if that ends, so be it.

I hope it makes it, too. Gotham just gets better and better each season, and the ratings seem to do well.
