Ah, okay... totally thought you meant his fingers actually being snapped off.

I'm one episode behind on SHIELD, and have yet to see Infinity War, but the last episode was the first mention of a tie-in for me, where they said that Thanos was on his way and that there was nothing anyone could do to stop him.

You're going to have to see Infinity War before the last episode of SHIELD. Seriously.

That would be weird for a TV show to spoil a movie, but here we are...

Yessssss. I love Tremors. Kinda bummed not to see Earl or Burt, though. I'm guessing this series ignores all of the sequels? I mean, I didn't see any ass blasters...

SyFy shot the pilot and then passed on it; then the trailer leaked.

Manifest looks interesting, like Lost. But, I'll give it a few seasons and catch up with it later on Netflix.

Despite my love for the sequels, I would watch the hell out of that. SyFy is stupid.

SyFy is filled with total shitshows. I can't believe they didn't pick this up.

Yeah, I have a real issue with paying a subscription fee...and still having commercials. That...really sucks.

Also, the Crown season two came out on Friday. We’ve had cold, dreary, rainy weather (until this morning), so it made for good binging. Haven’t finished it yet, because kids n’at, but halfway through it’s really well done. High production values and excellent cast. Claire Foy is really good as QE.
My wife watches this show, I drop in and out, so I probably saw about half the show, sometimes it was pretty boring, sometimes the historical context was so good.

SyFy used to have a lot of really good shows, too. When they canceled Eureka, that was the beginning of the end for me.

Wasn't the original Tremors series on Syfy? That was god awful.

So is the new series dead since Syfy passed? Any hope for Netflix?

Ugh, Agents of SHIELD won't return until summer 2019 now. It doesn't sound like it'll be their final season, but that's one hell of a hiatus.

Well, that's one way to deal with the events of Infinity War. Wait until they're resolved next May before starting the show up again.

I should not have been speeding in the DeLorean...

Murphy Brown and Magnum PI are on the fall schedule for CBS.

Roseanne really fueled a lot of those green lit projects I think.

What was the first legit throw back show with the original cast recently that started all of this? (Not Hawaii 5-0 or MacGyver where it was a new cast playing an old show).

Was it X-files? Fuller House on Netflix?

TheOneRing.net (a longtime source of reliable scuttlebutt related to Middle-earth) reports that the show’s first season is going to focus on a young Aragorn.

I’m not a Tolkien devotee so I’m interested in seeing how they’re going to make me give a **** about a young Aragorn.

There's a lot of content we don't get about Aragorn from the books and movies. He was already 97 during the War of the Ring. Among other things, he fought with Theoden's grandfather; fought under a different name for Gondor; and disappeared into the east for many years.

I'd take any of that.

Probably not, lol. ;) Dwarves are a 2/3 male population - the women are scarce.
