Yeah, not that it matters, but I already deleted the unwatched Deadliest Catch stuff on my TiVo and removed my season pass.
Fwiw, they scrubbed the Cornelia Marie from the remainder of the season.
I did read that, but I'll pass. They can find other viewers.

I stopped a few seasons ago when they moved to 2 hour episodes and I realized that every season is exactly the same. I have, however, been watching highlights of the seasons I missed on YouTube and it's a much better experience.

I'm watching Peacemaker right now. I'm really enjoying it. The music in it is awesome too.

Watched season 1 of Fleabag yesterday. Solid watch. Looking forward to season 2.
Watched S1 today. I like it. I see people comparing it to top 10 shows all time which is funny but still good enough to binge so far

Watching season 3 of Harley Quinn, it's a quick watch. Also started the Boys. Got through the first 2 episodes.

Anyone else watch American Ninja Warrior? I genuinely love it and love the commentators. We watch it with our daughter.

We watched the family episode featuring the young father with Parkinson's. Michael J Fox, who he works with in activism, recorded a great promo for him. Won't spoil anything if you do watch it but my wife and I were in tears. Our daughter started crying because we were

We do. That's one of our family shows we watch if some of our other shows we watch together are either in reruns or we watched through the season on Netflix or something. We really enjoy it.

I did not see the episode with the young father with Parkinsons though. I'm sure we'll get to it though.

I've watched the past few seasons with my roommate. Enjoyable for many reasons, but definitely haven't like the show as much since they started letting teens compete. There's nothing compelling about teens.

Jeffrey Epstein would disagree.

On another note, White Lotus was really bizarre and I’m not sure how much I liked it. I didn’t dislike it but there weren’t a lot of characters to root for.

It’ll be weird to see how they approach Season 2.

Do you know anything about it?

It's centered around Stifflers Mom at another resort. I'm pretty bummed about it.

Didn’t know that. That sort of defeats the name of the show.

Fleabag was top tier. A shockingly good character/ acting/ writing and her sister was great too. Engaging

So I'm finally getting around to season 3 of Das Boot which came out in the UK back in the spring. It's really a very strange situation, as season 1 is on Hulu, but no other seasons are distributed here in the US. Yet it's produced/distributed by NBC Universal (among other companies, including Samsung).

Very high production values, good plots with a mixture of German homefront/thriller with submarine action. In fact, it's one of a handful of show produced in 8K (hence the Samsung partnership), although I don't bother with 8K files. And the fourth season is already in the works...

My guess is that Disney (Hulu) didn't want a second season in 2018-9 because of white supremacy stuff going on here? It's weird.

I almost wish I didn't watch the BBC version first. I just can't get into this half-assed knock-off version.

Also, there's this:

This. When we had COVID in June we binged the BBC version, and then started feeling better and tried to move on to the CBS one and it was like those 'Mom says we have it at home' memes.

It would be great if the American version got sucked off.
