Is it Pete Davidson?
A close relative, I’m sure. He doesn’t ruin the show, though, so I’d still recommend it.

Sherlock Holmes, master thief?
Good point. Lupin is a gentleman burglar - like Robin Hood. The author saw the popularity of Sherlock Holmes and wrote his version of it, for French audiences.

In later books, the two either face-off or team up - I'm not sure, as I've never read them.

But the show is a cool premise, because the books exist in the show and the main character is a huge fan of them.

Speaking of Sherlock, we watched the first episode of the BBC series with the kids last night - they loved it! Hard to believe the show is now 11 years old though.

How cool would it be to have Cumberbatch's Sherlock show up on an episode of Lupin? Both are on Netflix, fwiw...
Where are you watching the BBC series? Is there a PBS or BBC app ?

I misunderstood the posts here and dove into Lupin and really liked it...but where I thought they had released both parts with five episodes. Got to the end of the fifth episode and there were no more. Disappoint.

The new Night Stalker series on Netflix is pretty terrific.

I loved the cheese of the old one as a kid. How does this compare?

This one's a documentary. Sorry, I should have mentioned that.

In preparation for watching this I read Ramirez’s wiki. That was a tough read.

Not sure about this. I loved the movies with Denzel, so I may give it a shot just for the hell of it.

Why are network shows so awful?

I remember the original series, back in the 80s. Doubt I'll watch this one.

Network dramas have to appeal to a wide audience and still ads, that's why they are what they are.

After the early football game yesterday, I left CBS All Access running, through to NCIS Los Angeles. I made it about ten minutes before tapping out. Just not good. Cliches, bad writing, ugh. And there are like three of those shows on, one worse than the next I'd bet.

Sixth season of Peaky Blinders, either filming now or just completed, will be the last...but it sounds like a spinoff is in the works.

Frustrating that this is the end and frustrating that there will be no Lincoln Lawyer crossovers. Great show. Welliver is so good in the role. Hate that it’s ending.

Yeah, it sucks. One of the few consistent shows throughout every season. Hopefully, they’ll do a Bosch movie once in a while.

It took me a few episodes to get into it. My wife bailed after the first episode. I ended up really liking every season.

It’ll never be “exciting”, but it will always be interesting and often devastating. My #2 show.
