4 or 5 episodes in to new season of cobra kai and it's much better than past seasons. Enjoying it very much. Changes in story and scenery definitely help in making it feel different than same old same old.

Totally forgot about this. Glad you mentioned something.

the bear
overall i enjoyed the show and i always wanted to watch another episode which is a win

i do have some 'beef' (get it?) with some things

- whats the point with the money in the tomato sauce? i hope we learn more about this in s2 but why wouldnt mikey just pay his vendors off with this rather than going the other route?

- the donuts - wtf. and then carmine didnt even say anything to him that it was great. so bizarre

- health inspection - i think they meant to make this about richie screwing everything up but they could have went other ways and it was like it never happened after that episode

excited for s2

I had the same question about the money in the cans. It makes no sense at all, unless I missed some other clue during the season.

I somehow found myself watching the Emmys last night. Not surprisingly, the ceremony was awkward, annoying, and inane.

At least a lot of the shows I watched won awards, including Michael Keaton for Dopesick.

I know I have no one to blame but myself, but...

ER season 12 is getting tough to watch. In the course of two episodes, Sherry Stringfield was suddenly swapped out for John Leguizamo ( ) and John Stamos makes his first appearance as the worlds most unconvincing EMT/med student.

Kristen Johnston (Sally from 3rd Rock From The Sun) and Linda Cardellini are pretty much the only interesting new additions to the cast in this last third of the series run. Unless you count Danny Glover's guest spots (I don't).

3.5 more seasons to go.

About halfway through S3 of Arrow rewatch with the kids. The first 3 seasons are pretty damn good. I think I quit watching early in S4 when they had 10 different superhero shows going and I couldn't follow everything. I'm surprised to see there are 8 seasons. My youngest loves this show and I'm looking forward to seeing what happens.

I quit watching around the same time but definitely enjoyed the first three seasons.

@NTP66 or any other Ghosts fans might know this.

Ghosts series 4 starts up on BBC in the UK this month. I watched 1-3 on HBO Max. I assume the new episodes won't be released on HBO Max until after the series is over, if ever. Is there any way to watch series 4 in the states when they're released?

Argh, matey. ;)

Or I vaguely recall signing up for BBC streaming and using a VPN for Sherlock years and years ago. Doubt that still works though.

It appears that ol' NTP has had to work today.

I don't believe so, based on my search just a few days ago. I'm going to just grab torrents of it once they're released. Excited about also getting a another Christmas special at the end of series 4, as well.

I tried watching The Terminal List on Prime, but the first episode was so bad that I couldn't get through it.

I watch enough BBC content that I'd probably subscribe if we had the ability, but none of this stuff nor the nature documentaries are available. You have to wait until they come to BBC America.

I'm pretty sure you can still use a VPN with your location set to UK to watch on the BBC iplayer. That seems like a pain in the ass though so I'll be pirating.

Probably easy for me to do since I can do it directly on my router, but I'm not doing that.

Season 3 was added to HBO Max shortly after all episodes aired on BBC. I'm assuming it'd be the same situation again and it'll be there by the end of the year.

I was able to easily find the last seasons of Peaky Blinders and Derry Girls as they aired so I don't think it'll be that difficult.

I hope you're right, but I have very little faith in HBO Max moving forward.

I was discussing it with my wife on Sunday and mentioned the Queen might have a guest spot. Too soon, but she laughed.
