I was very excited to see the entire series of Roseanne is on Prime Video. Unfortunately it is upscaled to 1080p and cropped to 16:9, meaning the framing is now very awkward, cropping heads and feeling cramped. What a stupid decision. Guess I’ll have to stick with the DVDs.

Yeah fair enough. We’re clearly not the target audience for this, though. And the 80s/90s series still exists and can be watched whenever you want. Though I will reiterate that it really doesn’t hold up. And maybe they could’ve introduced a new black character, but I don’t have a problem reimagaining April. I mean, her Nickelodeon character was vastly different from the original series character. She’s been evolving in every iteration of the show.

Tim Roth as a former British detective moves his family to the wilds of Canada and becomes a small town sheriff.

A little weird. But it’s engaging two episodes in.

A few reviews don’t seem overwhelmed by it.

It was a little bleak for me, I watched about four episodes as well. Good premise, but nah.

I discovered Strike Back this weekend. It's a Cinemax version of SEAL Team or Homeland with more action and gratuitous nudity. It's interesting.

Regardless of your wife’s anger issues, Divorce is a solid show. THC is dryly hilarious and bad things happen to that annoying horse face lady.

I can't stand SJP to the point that it's a nonstarter. Original trailer looked good.

She picked a mid season second season episode to record, and we have HBOGo. She knew what she was doing.

Happy! is phenomenal, and I'm liking Altered Carbon so far. Netflix really does have a tremendous lineup of original shows.
