I want Crate and Barrel to come to my house for pizza and booze.
The scene with Honey and Cronin in the courtroom was unbelievably fantastic. Also interested to see what comes of the cooking the books stuff that Amy Aquino's character was looking into.
Much agreed on the background people.

The Big Bang Theory series finale was last night. The last few years haven’t really done much for me, but we stuck with it because my wife enjoys it.
The only thing I cared about seeing was that the damn elevator was working again in the final episode.
As far as series finales go, this one was actually very good.

I'd say good riddance but it will be in syndication longer than I'm alive.

Yeah, it’s on TBS pretty much non-stop.

I agree it was well done.

i used to watch it with my wife. it was a "familiar show that you watch when you're working on your laptop" show. we quit last year when we realized we didn't enjoy it on any level and these goobers being in their late 30's/40's has started to make their weird lives just seem sad.

It was basically background TV for me for a few years. This season had some good episodes, at least.

This looks awful.

Like people are saying in the comments, breaks into batman's house, steals his identity, and life's work, and has the audacity to claim he doesn't deserve credit for her work. :face:

Who doesn't want to watch a social identity politics-obsessed Batwoman show?

Chernobyl has a companion podcast that is really excellent. Lots of extra stuff that was left out of the miniseries, and behind the scenes stuff.

Catch-22 is getting mediocre to poor reviews, unfortunately. I’ll still watch, but I am sad.

I've been hearing about this british show called FLEABAG on Amazon and we watched 3 ep last night. It's pretty crude and so far hasn't hit the acclaim I've been hearing. The main actress can come across as pretty annoying, but also hits some homeruns with the comedy. Wife was less of a fan than I was. It seems to be getting better after 3 ep, but still on the fence with this one.

i really like westworld because of the world building, the old west fantasy element and the questions it presents about consciousness and humanity.

anyways. here's jesse pinkman in some sort of futuristic straightforward action movie

Westworld went off a cliff for me last season.
Not sure how interested I am in continuing.

i love the first few episodes of season 1 so much. i thought it was primed to be one of the all time greats. but after a few hours of production, they basically said, "ok. we explored this premise enough. let's make it weird now" and all the fun worldbuilding and thought experiment stuff flew out the window in exchange for these horrible Delos subplots.
