I watched House of Cards for precisely however long it took for Spacey to break the 4th wall. It just took me out of the show instantly. I think Deadpool is about the only place this has never bothered me.

All far less distracting than Spacey doing it. Maybe I subconsciously knew he was **** up.

I thought they did it a little too much in Deadpool 2.

What a smash hit. I wonder if those Nick shows hold up today. Used to love that and Hey Dude and I'm sure the storylines were so goddamn dumb but I was too young to realize and just hung on every scene like it was Breaking Bad.

A few years back I bought season one of Hey Dude on dvd. It DOES NOT hold up.

I loved Salute Your Shorts and Pete and Pete but even juvenile me was smart enough to know that Hey Dude sucked.

Steve Martin and Martin Short stage show on Netflix was great, I enjoyed it very much. I'm curious at 1hr13min if the actual show is longer?

I don't know if you've seen the Netflix show yet, but I was also wondering if every show they do is roughly the same show? I would love to see these guys live. So much incredible talent up there on stage.

I need to watch the Netflix show to see how it compares.

The live show was a wonderful experience, and I'm so happy I got to see both of them live. They put a ton of energy into it.

Watched the Steve and Martin show yesterday morning. It was perfect for Sunday morning. Light, mostly non-offensive, well-paced and funny. They definitely play off each other well.

One of my ex's sons was a background extra in the most recent episode of Westworld. So that's neat.

Far right, seated, facing camera.

TheOneRing.net Twitter thread about the new LOTR series.

Content and stories will mostly come from the Appendicies; Appendix A alone goes all the way back to the kings of Númenór, and touches on the origins of the Rohan and Dwarves. Lots of good stuff.

Is Parks and Recreation worth a look? I've only seen a few clips, and I'm still not sure if it's just a bad Office impersonation or not. I think the only reason I want to even investigate it is Nick Offerman.
