White Lotus S02 finale
Image

Just when I think Tanya is finally getting it, this dumb dodint falls over the side of the boat and cracks her head on the way down - precisely what I told my wife would happen 30 seconds prior. I'm not even annoyed that she died, but that her shitbag husband wins in the end. And her assistant? She's definitely going to walk into her own murder.

Looks like they are spacing the episodes out a bit - maybe because of the WGA strike? SAG just voted to go on strike as well.

Finally got around to watching the finale of Ted Lasso last night...
I agree with most of the complaints, but I didn't think of any of them while I was watching, nor did I care. I loved the show, loved the finale, and they ended it just fine IMO. I said to my wife, "they ended it with the possibility of soooooo many spinoffs". I don't know if that was intentional or not, but it just seems like they left the whole thing wide open.

I will forever use "be a goldfish" moving forward.

Anyone else watch A Million Little Things? Caught the finale last night.
I thought it was a solid final season, but I've gotta be honest, I didn't enjoy seeing what they did to my man Gary. Figured that was the direction they were going all along, but it still sucks. Was also hoping that Eddie would start to gain some feeling in his legs, but alas, nope.

Just finished Yellowjackets season 1…

Bruh…
I binged the first season last summer when I was sick.

I've been getting showtime in the hotel and watched season two the last couple of weeks.

It got incredibly stupid.

Dude! The first season had something. The 2nd season… what the eff, talk about a huge ball drop.

The first two Sunny episodes were really great, especially the first one. It felt like a classic Sunny from season 5 or 6. I wonder if the podcast helped the gang rediscover what made the early seasons so fun.

First episode was solid. Don’t know if I’m just late to the game, but I caught this while watching:

Yeah I’d have to go back to know for sure but that’s been there for a long time. At least back to season 5. I wouldn’t be surprised if that was there since the beginning. Doesn’t make much sense

I’m pretty sure it’s the old Flyers alternate orange jersey. Not sure who it is though.

The picture is definitely too blurry. Roenick did play for the Flyers at the time, but knowing the cast it's probably someone obscure that only played like 5 games between 02 and 06

Have you watched it? The premise is right up my alley, and I have most of the episodes queued up on my TiVo.

It started out slow but it's starting to gain steam. It's been so long since I've read the books that I can't tell if they are staying true to the story or not. What do you think, DG?

Staying pretty close to the books, from what I remember. I have a spoiler several pages ago that talks about one significant change and why it probably had to be made, but other than that, it's very close.

The live-action “Knuckles” series at Paramount+ has added five new cast members.

Cary Elwes (“The Princess Bride,” “Robin Hood: Men in Tights”), Stockard Channing (“Grease,” “The West Wing”), Christopher Lloyd (“Back to the Future,” “The Addams Family”), Paul Scheer (“Black Monday,” “Veep”), and Rob Huebel (“Children’s Hospital,” “Bob’s Burgers”) have all joined the series. Details on their characters are being kept under wraps.

As previously announced, Idris Elba will once again voice the character Knuckles as he did in the film “Sonic the Hedgehog 2.” Other cast members include Adam Pally, reprising the role of Wade Whipple, as well as Edi Patterson, Julian Barratt, Scott Mescudi, and Ellie Taylor. Guest stars include Rory McCann and Tika Sumpter, with the latter reprising her role as Maddie.
