I hope it's better than his last offerings, I don't think I even made it through one of them and didn't try the other

I don't know where this should go, but trolling around on YouTube, I found a new music video for CCR's "Have you ever felt the rain?" staring The Boys Hughie and Starlight. So bizarre.

I burned through all 9 episodes in a day and a half. I thought it was even better than season 1.

The interviews with the inmates are terrific. I could watch the Ed Kemper dude for hours.

Realized this came back last Friday and watched Episode 1. Found it a little slow and too office based. Glad to hear it picks back up.

We only made it 4 episodes into the first season of Mindhunter. I was super bored. I know this is not a popular opinion. I'll give it another shot at some point.

It's definitely a slow burn show and not for everyone.

I'm still rolling through Shark Week episodes. As expected, some are really good, and some are just flat out awful. Last night, we watched the Monster Mako episode. No exaggeration, 85% of it was flashbacks to previous Shark Week episodes involving Makos. **** brutal.

One of my favorite shark things ever is the video of the mako chasing the high speed bait off the back of that boat.

Yeah, that was awesome, and they didn't even get up to full speed. I can't even imagine seeing a large shark like that hitting 50+mph in the water.

Watching the first 4ep of S2 last night i kept trying to figure out why it was so good. Im not surprised some would be bored. It's so unassuming. I guess the pacing and acting and writing are just good enough to really drive my intrigue

I couldn't remember why i loved season 1 so much or why i was excited for season 2. But then i stayed up way too late 1 more-ing it last night

Mindhunter
"Seems to me everything you’ve learned about serial killers has been gleaned from the ones who’ve been caught."

Also, Dewey Crowe is America's greatest actor.

Just started Mindhunter, per the reviews here. It's excellent, obviously. Pretty cool stuff, and now I have another book I don't have time to read.
