Source of the post Anybody watch Shameless? The US version, not the crappy UK one on Netflix.
Mr. Skin, uh, recommended a particular episode that might be...titillating. It was, and it seems like an interesting show. Pretty good cast, perhaps something I will check out later.
you could probably classify every episode as that. Emmy Rossum is killer.

Always wanted to watch it, but have to get my wife to agree.

William H. Macy is always great.

We are finishing up House of Cards and looking for something new. Maybe this will be it.

I like how they save the Xenu stuff for people who are in for hundreds of thousands of dollars. Retention would be close to zero if they opened with that.

yeah, the Paul Haggis comments were great when he found out
That one actor dude with the potty mouth, he had me in stitches every time he was on screen.

Do you know what he was in? There was something very familiar about him.

The only thing I recognized him from was "G.I. Jane" (iirc, he played Demi Moore's boyfriend). Looked at his IMDB page and he's got a ton of credits. One of those ubiquitous character actors that everyone recognizes but no one remembers.

Somewhat related but there is a documentary on Netflix called "That Guy Who Was in That Thing" that does a good job of presenting the life of a character actor.

"I Know That Voice" does the same for voice actors. Both are excellent and highly recommended.

I just watched this the other day. It was excellent.

I love those kind of "behind the scenes in the industry" docs.

Did anyone watch Powers on Playstation? I clicked on it to see why they were offering me this and instead of giving me some information, it automatically added the whole season to my viewing list (free for PS+). Something about a detective, crime, and people with SUPER POWERS.

Two E3s ago I saw a panel discussion with five voice actors, including Troy Baker and Nolan North. Between them, they are pretty much every iconic male video game voice (except for Snake from MGS). Being there and hearing them instantly turn into different vocal characters was astonishing.

Wow, going clear was very well done. Scary.

I had no idea Naz Bonaidi (from Homeland) was ever involved with Cruise. Scary what they made her do when she was "dumped" by Cruise. Not really made her do, but she was so programmed she punished herself.

And then the Sea Org people that were basically slave laborers...and the creepy naval uniforms. Creepy...

Very excited for Mad Men this weekend. With that, community, and GoT, there are some good shows starting up now.

Big fan of Foyle's War. I like how the show was resurrected several years after it was canceled on another network. I believe that there are new episodes either recently aired in the UK or will air soon there.

It really captures the wartime era in Britain. And it's just as good in recent episodes, after the war.

See if your show is cancelled.

I didn't even know half of these shows existed.

I'm still mad Mellissa and Joey is being cancelled and didn't realize the League was ending after one more season.
